You tried not to have a full break down, so you thought to the professor 'ill just go' you turned to leave but then you heard someone get up an walk towards you "no please stay" you heard, it was Jean, you stopped and felt her grab your hand you turned around to look at Jean, your eyes drifted back to the professor "please (y/n) I didn't mean to anger you i just wanted to understand why you did it" you smirked "you know you could saved the trouble and just read my mind" the professor brought his hands together "I could, but I'm sure there are things in your mind that you would rather I didn't see, am i right" you gave a slight nod, agreeing with him.

You sat back down cupping your hands together "I'm not sure what I could tell you" jean started to rub your back trying to comfort you "why don't you start with what you did after you left us" jean said in a soft voice, you took a deep breath and then spoke "well i went back to where I last saw Remy" you heard someone shift closer to you "WHAT" it was Logan "you went to their lab, do you even realise how dangerous that place is" you turned your body on the seat to face Logan "no one was there, the place was cleared out and plus it was the best place to start my search" Logan gave a grunt at your answer, you turned back around to the professor "so what did you do after you learnt that there wasn't anything at the labs" you looked down to the floor thinking about it "i tracked down other scientistic that had been known to experiment on mutants and I... well you all know that part" there was silence in the room.

you then just talking to him though mind 'i know what I did was wrong but I just need to know, even a hint that he might be alive... or not" a tear escaped your eye you bowed your face "what ever made you think he might not be alive (y/n)" you head wiped back up quickly saying "I didn't say" you were cut off by Kurt who teleported to your side "I cant hold it in any more, can I zell her" Kurt had a huge smile but you heard Logan grunt "shut up elf", you looked around the room to see everyone staring at you, you felt a hand on your shoulder "(y/n) we didn't want to get your hopes up" you turned to see Jane and rogue with guilty looks on their faces, your eyes drifted to meet up with the professors, your eyes were wide with hope, the professors cleared hid throat "last night roughly the same time you started to have those head acts cerebro picked up a mutant which had the same powers as Mr labeau but we weren't positive that it was him" you heart skipped a beat.

you stood up bring your hands to you face, you legs trembled making you hit the floor, tears streamed down your face and your breathing became uncontrollable, everyone came around you to make sure you were okay "i... I knew..knew he was alive, I could feel... it" you weren't sure if you were happy because he was alive or sad because he must have been though hell and back.

You stopped crying and tried to wiped away with you, you saw a tissue being handed to you by Jean you smiled and took it wiping away the remaining tears left, you stood up with the help of Kurt and rogue, you looked at the professor "when can I go get him" he smile and gave out a short laugh "I thought you'd ask that, but it will not be you" your eye widened "well not alone" you knew who he was talking about, you heard someone clear their throat, you turned to see everyone standing together, Logan smiled "I made the mistake of listen to the Cajun, but now I'm gonna listen to you and help you get him back, together" you smiled and looked at the rest, you ran and hugged logan who at first was shocked but then gave a little hug back, you let go and took a step back facing everyone again,"you guys don't have to do this" as you said that, Scott stepped forward "yes we do because you and gambit were x men and that means your family and we are getting him back" the others nodded in agreement, your heart was starting to feel whole again, all your friends were here to help and by the end of the week you could be in the arms of your lover once again, you turned back around to face the professor "so what are we wait for"
