2 HOURS LATER

(y/n) POV

the team had to get ready into the battle suits and logan had to step up a ruff plan, so basically he'd get a 3D map of the place we would be going and figure out where to land and the best way to go in.

you were in your room searching though all the stuff you and remy left here, you were looking for your ring just to make sure it hadn't went missing, you moved some t-shirts out of the way to show a small beautiful dark blue box, you picked it up looking at it with a big smile, you opened it to show a small silver braided Wedding ring with 6 diamonds separated around it, it was still as shiny as the day remy gave it to you, you saw a tear hitting the side of the box, you hand touched your face and wiped away the tears. You took out the ring and placed it on your finger, you looked at it and started to think about him and how he he'll be once he's back home, you were brought out of thought by a knock at the door, you turned to see its was logan, you quickly place the box back in the drawer and went to the bed to put on you gloves. You sat down and patted the spot next to you to show that he could sit beside you, which he did, you went putting on the last glove went Logan spoke "(y/n), just so you know, if something happens today... I just want you to know i" you cut him off "wow ow Logan nothing is going to happen... I mean we're the x-men, we can take on anything" you gave him your big cat smile which made him gave out a chuckle "well im just saying we here no matter what okay" he rubbed your back to comfort you, you gave out a laugh and stood up, as you went to leave you hear logan say "(y/n) wait" you turned to face him, he was standing up and he looked like he had something on his mind, you brought one hand to his face "Logan.. what's wrong" you could hear his heart racing (you have super hearing) you were starting to get worried, he had a guilty look on his face, like he was about to say the worst thing "umm... it nothing... how come your not wearing your old uniform" he changed the subject, you knew he was hiding something but you it couldn't have been that serious, you took you hand away and stepped back "i got rid of that ages ago, I just decide to go more battle yet could blend into a crowd kind of look" you did you spin for him, which made him laugh, you looked at the time and realise it was nearly time to go "come on Logan its time" you grabbed his arm pulling him out of the room towards where the black bird was.

LOGANS POV

When we got there, everyone else was in the room waiting for us, (y/n) let go of me and headed to the others, she needed some things like smoke pellets and a small knife just encase she needs it, after she got all she need she headed into the jet with the more younger ones rogue, kurt and kitty.

I stood there and watched them all get on but my eye was more focused on Cheshire until she was out of sight, I then realise two were missing, I turned to see scott with his arms crossed and jean leaning on his shoulder, they both had a serious look on their faces "WHAT" I said to both of them, jean raised her eyebrow "have you told her yet" I looked way giving them a sarcastic laugh "no..and im not going to jean" they both gave a sympathetic look "logan look we only" scott started but was then cut off "save it summers" I turned to head to the jet.

Whilst I was walking to my seat jean telepathic said 'Logan she needs to know and it wouldn't be fair on you to keep it to yourself' I sat down in my seat next to Cheshire who gave me a slight smile, I gave one back and as I went to clip myself in I felt a hand on my shoulder, I didn't need to look to know it was jean 'I just don't want you to be unhappy' I gave out a laugh "lets go get lover boy okay" jean nodded and walked to the pilot bit with scott. I looked back to (y/n) who had taken off her left glove and was playing with a ring, it didn't take a genies to know it was the ring the cajun proposed with, she was looking at it and smiling, I felt an act in my chest and all I could think was 'why this girl... why do I love this beautiful girl' then the jet started up which made me and Cheshire jump a bit and before we knew it we were off and I had missed my chance forever.

(Y/N) POV

the jet started to move and all you could think was 'this must be a dream and if it is then I never want to wake up' you smiled as you kept twirling your ring on your finger 'I can tell you (y/n) it isn't a dream' you heard jean in your head 'really jean are you spying on me now' you said in a sarcastic voice, you leaded over to your right to look down the lain to the front, you saw jean and scott flipping switches and then scott turned to his left and took jeans hand and gave it a kiss, they were looking into each others eyes, smiling, you sat back in your seat now questioning yourself 'do you still think he loves me' you asked jean who took a while to answer 'wait... do you know' you stopped looking at your ring 'about remy, wait who are you talking about' you heart started to race, you started to think of things she might be talking about, but then you start think to over what we actually said, then jean answers 'I got mixed up... yes I think he loves you ... very much' she sounded upset, you weren't convinced you were talking about the same person.
