chapter 5

You woke up in an hospital and you knew it was the one at the institute as it wasn't the first time you have been in it, you looked at you surrounding and on you left you saw Logan who was sitting in a chair and was holding your hand, he looked really tired.

you sneak out the bed and headed to the set of draw which you knew had your clothes in it, you pulled to curtain that goes around the bed out so that if Logan woke up or someone walked in they wouldn't see you half naked, once you were ready you push the curtain back and as you pasted Logan he started to talk in his sleep "nm mm...(y/n) nm mm" you stopped and looked back to see his hand was in a fist, you felt bad 'I've probable been out for a couple of days, I cant just leave he will freak out" you walked back to the bed and layed down on your side , you started to stroke Logan's arm and rubbing your thumb in circle on his hand, after a minute of doing this you decided to drag your nail up his arm, you knew he hated that, as you grew your nail, you placed it on his wrist and travailed up, sure enough he shivered and woke himself up, you then brought your hand to you head and put them under your head to look all innocent.

He looked at you and sprung to life pulling the chair closer "hey kid are you okay" you smirked, Logan still keeping his promise to look out for me, you sat up which made Logan get up and help you 'has he not notice I've changed clothes' after you sat up Logan took you hand and held it, he looked like he just watched me die or something "um yeah I'm fine just kinda confuse, I don't remember you collecting me" Logan bowed his head, you were scared like he wanted to say something but was to scared, you quickly changed the subject "okay well how long have I been out and when can I eat" Logan gave out a chuckle and looked back up at you "well it 8:34 am and you have been out for three days" your jaw dropped 'three day holy shit' you smiled and started to get up and before you even touched the ground Logan was up and trying to get you back in the bed.

you looked at him with anger "what the hell Logan" as he sat you back on the bed you crossed your arms, he looked at you and chucked "Cheshire you have just woken up, take it easy" he took a step back and put his hand in his pocket pulling out a chain, you looked at it, it was a simple silver chain with had a green stone hanging off on it, you looked at it with wide eye, Logan handed it over but before he could say anything, you hugged him "thank you so much" Logan knew it meant a lot since it was the first gift Remy got you. you then remembered him saying your name in his sleep, You looked into his eyes "what were you dreaming about" Logan face changed he turned his head away "was it about me" you asked Logan signed he wasn't good with talking, you placed your hand on his face making him face you, when his eyes met your he started to smile "yeah, it was, I was dreaming of that day, when you lost gambit" you bowed your head, you and him havent really talked about Remy but you knew that not one day went by that Logan didn't think about what he had to do.

*Logan pov*

I cared about (y/n), she was like me but less angry, I knew she was heartbroken over gambit, I mean they were in love, I remember the day I met her, she was so polite and always smiled but when she was with the Cajun oh her smile could light up New York, it was clear as day they were meant to be but the day she lost him, she was different and not in personality or looks but her vibe, it was dark.

*(y/n) pov*

We were just about to say something when suddenly someone came though then door, you looked over Logan's shoulder to see hank standing there in a white lab coat, you smiled at his "hank hi its good to see" he came over standing at the end of the bed "and you to (y/n) and how are we feeling" you thought about it for a moment "well fine but I am hungry, do you think there's any chance I could go get something" hank crossed his arms about to speak and Logan answers "no I already said" and to my rescue hank said "well actually I would prefer her to go and stretch her legs Logan" Logan looked at hank as if he wanted him to leave but you took the chance, you jumped out the bed and went straight out the door.

you could hear Logan shouting after you but you knew he would catch up soon, you ran around a corner try to find the elevator, you couldn't really remember the layout but you knew the lift was near the library but you didn't know where, you was about to give up till you passed a hall that looked filmier, you quickly ran down it and what do you know, there was the elevator, you pressed the button and I swung open, you popped in it pressing the top button, as the doors shut you could hear Logan running down the hall, you laughed as the elevator began to move then you hear someone talking to you '(y/n) I glad you're alright, I see your on your way to breakfast, sorry we didn't bring you anything but your welcome to take what you like' you smiled 'thank you professor, is everyone here or are they gone to something' you waited a moment 'no no they are all here in-fact one is waiting for you' you were confused but then the door slid open to show rogue standing on the other side, you smiled when you saw her and you couldn't help but to hug her, she hugged back "hey I've missed ya too" you let go "oh my god rogue I've not see you in so long how are you" she gave a sigh "I've been bored ever since you left us but now your back, what about you" you fiddled with your fingers "well better but not completely great but I was on my way to get breakfast wanna come" rogue slide and hooked arms with you "yeah I wanna know where you've been", you and rogue walked towards to kitchen.

no one was in the kitchen so you just went around looking in all the cardboards looking for food, the door opened and when you turned you heard a *bamf* sound and then felt someone hugging you from the side, when you looked you saw a little blue pointy ear nightcrawler "(y/n) jou're up, I'm so happy jou back I've missed jou" you smiled and hugged him "hey Kurt I've missed you too" you heard someone clear their throat, you thought it was logan but it sounded less manly, you looked at the door way again to see Scott leaning against the door fame and Jean wrapped in his arms, you felt Kurt loosing his grip to let you hug them, you and gambit use t go on double date with them and ever since the indent they were there helping me though it all, you ran to Jean and hugged her 'its good to see you (y/n)' Jean said using her powers you pulled away to look at her, you two both smiled and laughed, you looked up to Scott "hey Scott" he smirked "hey (y/n), your looking better" you gave out a nervous laugh "um yeah I'm doing okay, I'm just getting some breakfast and then heading to the professors office" you looked at Jean who seemed upset but her face fetcher changed "yeah we know we are going as well in-fact I was just about to tell Kurt an rogue that they have to go too" you turned to see Kurt eating a pop tart and rogue sipping some fruit juice, you turned back to Jean and Scott "okay just let me eat first then we can all can make our way over" you said, Scott smiled "sounds like a plan", you and everyone sat down and have something to eat and chat about each other's lives, once you all were done, you clean the plates and headed out to the professor.
