Chapter: 17

1997 KOL...

I pushed the door open and saw Annabelle's body laying on the bed, Annabelle's bed was smudged with her blood. I walked closer and saw that her eyes were open then saw the bite mark on her neck, she had no pulse, I knew she was gone. I holded her against me and began to cry, I stayed there for a while then left her on the bed and walked out of the house. I vowed to find the person who did this, but timed past and I gave up the search, but one day I knew I would be facing her murder and I would kill them.

KOL PRESENT...

I layed there the memories coming back, the laughs we shared, and the love we had for each other. I heard my door click shut and I knew one of my siblings were in the room.

''Kol?'' Klaus spoke

''Niklaus, I've told you I'm fine'' I said sitting up

''Kol, your not fine, I saw the expression on your face, how it got to you'' Klaus said 

''Klaus it was just for a moment'' I said lying

''Lies, if it was just for a moment then you would have made a remark'' Klaus said 

''Leave me'' I said 

''Very well, but one things for sure I promise you Iris wont get hurt'' Klaus said 

''Everyone wants her because she's powerful I think people wont stop looking for her'' I said 

''Get some sleep, tommorrow were going to New Orleans'' Klaus said 

''To find the witch's'' I said 

''Yes and kill them'' Klaus said and walked out of the room

I layed there for a while then fell asleep

ELENA P.O.V.

I got home and went straight to the computer, I looked up crimes or animal attacks during 1997   the year in which  Annabelle died. The first one that came up was a family massacred in there home and I clicked on it and a picture of the victims appeared, I flipped through the pictures and stopped when I found the picture I was looking for. I gasped as I saw Annabelle's picture, I began to dial Stefan's number.

''Are you okay?'' Stefan said 

''Damon and you need to come over here now'' I said 

''Why?'' Stefan said worriedly 

''I found something weird and interesting about Annabelle'' I said 

''On my way'' Stefan said 

When I hunged up the phone, the doorbell rang and I ran downstairs to open it and Stefan and Damon walked in.

''What's so important that you dragged us over here'' Damon said 

I led them upstairs and into my room, I grabed the computer.

''That's Annabelle'' I said handing them the laptop

''That's not possible'' Damon said
