Chapter: 42

DAMON P.O.V.

I looked at my doppelganger and of course our features were alike, but I felt there was something twisted about him and it send a chill down my spine.

"Damon, finally we meet" he said

"Damon don't do anything stupid" Stefan whispered at me

"My name is Danyel Salvatore" he said smiling

"Your not a Salvatore" Stefan added

"Like it or not I am, now where's my dearest Iris" Danyel said

"You created her, that night in the forest you acted as me and bite her I remember her mentioning that to me" I said

"Yes, I'm her creator technically" Danyel said

"Why? " I asked

Danyel smiled and looked at Angelus then back at me with a smirk across his face.

"Angelus told you to do it" Caroline said

"Yes,  and since he was a good friend I helped" Danyel replied

''Why?'' I directed the question to Angelus

''Well, I had met Iris before she was with Pearl and Anabelle, you see we had a past but of course I snapped due to the fact she didn't love me, so I decided to wipe her memory of me and also wipe out her family'' Angelus said 

ANGELUS P.O.V. 1864...

Edwin's funeral was 2 days ago and the Knights mansion was gloomy, everyone who once was happy were now sad including me at times. I had been infuriated and lost control over my power, I have been practicing my magic and I seem to now have control over it. Still the Knights had become suspicous of me, due to the fact I was with Edwin before he died, no one could explain what happened that afternoon. I now was in the stables grooming the horses, I was so focused on the horses that I hadn't realised Iris standing behind me.  

''Iris'' I said stunned 

''Call me Mrs. Knight for now on'' Iris answered coldly

''Of course Mrs. Knight'' I said sadly

''My brother... he wanted the best for me, and I have come here to give you this'' Iris said as she handed me the note I had written for her.

''Mrs. Knight this belongs to you'' I handed her the letter but she refused to grab it

''Mr. Baine as I have told you Edwin wanted the best for me so I must grant his wish, here I think you'll understand'' Iris handed me a white envelope, I immediately open it, I looked at it and it was an invitation to her wedding.

''Your gonna get married with Trevor'' I said slowly

''Yes'' Iris simply said 

''I love you Iris, please dont go through with this I know you have no feelings what so ever for Trevor'' I said 

''That's where your wrong, I love Trevor, and if you think you can change my mind about him your wrong, I never ever will love you and that's a promise i'll keep'' she answered coldly

''Why is that?'' I asked

''Because Edwin told me what you are, I know exactly what happened to him, your a monster and I must tell my parents about you'' she said 

''Iris please, don't do this to me'' I pleaded

''Why should I spare your life, you murdered my brother and thats unforgivable'' Iris said 

''You'll regret telling your parents'' I answered angrily

''No, I'll never regret this decision'' she said and walked out of the stables
