Chapter: 63

Rebekah P.O.V.

I hanged up the phone after speaking to Elijah, I was completely shocked about the news he had given me.  I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room to find everyone surrounding a table making plans for tomorrow and Klaus was amongst them. I walked over to him quitely and nudged on his arm trying to catch his attention, he turned around.

''Can I have a moment?'' I said to Klaus.

''Can't you see I am in the middle of something why don't you go and...'' Klaus began to say when I cut him off.

''Niklaus this is serious'' I said 

He stared at me and reluctantly followed me back into the kitchen and out the back door of the house. 

''Why outside?'' Klaus said 

''I don't want anyone to hear'' I said 

''Hear what?'' Klaus said seriously 

''Elijah called me...'' I began to say but Klaus interrupted.

''Ah where is our brother and the Salvatores, they are greatly missed'' Klaus said smiling

''Niklaus this isn't funny'' I said 

''What is so serious?'' Klaus said 

''Elena...'' I stuttered 

''What has happened sister?'' Klaus said nearing me

''Elena is dead, Niklaus'' I said quietly 

Klaus with a blank stare stood there, I didnt know what he was thinking. Yet no one knows what he ever thinks about, he surprises everyone most of the time with his psychotic ideas and plans, but this time it was a different situation. 

''Damon and Stefan?'' he asked

''They are derailed'' I said 

''Meaning?'' Klaus asked

''They have shut everything down, it isnt them anymore Klaus and thats a problem'' I said 

''We are the piggies and Angelus is the big bad wolf now, we are preparing for slaughter arent we'' Klaus said 

''Dont say that'' I angrily said 

''You were thinking it, dont you dare deny it'' Klaus said 

''What do we do?'' I asked

''Well we still have time to gather everything and...'' Klaus said but I quickly cut him off.

''We are running?'' I said 

''We are just avoiding the envitable'' Klaus said already turning his back and walking away.

''No, Klaus'' I said, making him turn

''No?'' he said 

''We fight'' I said 

''Now you want to fight? Sister do you realize what is happening we arent getting out alive'' Klaus said furiously.

''We are the Originals, Niklaus'' I said 

''So, there is such thing as the white oak stake, we arent invincible'' Klaus said 

''Since when has my brother, the almighty Klaus if I add, back away from a fight? You never give up Klaus you arent a corward'' I said teared eye

''We are out numbered rebekah'' he said 

''Family'' I simply said 

''What about it?'' Klaus said

''That is something Angelus doesnt have'' I said 

Klaus was about to say something but I quickly cut him off before he could.

''What about our brother Niklaus? We cannot abandoned him, we are a family even those who are in that house.'' I said 

''Since when are you a family person? You are always on the run from me'' he said quietly 

''You are right Im not a family person, but hell family is all I have, I cant trade you for another brother, dont you remember the oath klaus, always and forever, that what we agreed upon and now that oath must be lived, we stand united as one, yes we may not be invincible just because we are the Originals, but for certain we never back down and together as one we are the strongest force to be reckon with and now think about that and add more people to that equation, we  can do this'' I said 

Klaus stared at me blankly, thinking I suppose.

''Get your shit together Klaus and lets go inside and beat Angelus'' I said 

''Lord can these not get so much cliche by the second, the pep talk then the fight'' Klaus chuckled and stared at me.

''Well arent you coming'' he said beginning to walk back into the house.
