Chapter: 55

DANIKA P.O.V.

I quickly and quietly put on some jeans and a shirt, I opened my bedroom window and climbed out, I land on the wet green grass that surrounded my home. I could clearly see Michael standing on the sidewalk waiting for me, the moon gave a glow to his blonde hair and made him look like a angle. I ran to him and immediately crashed my lips into him, we kissed passionetly for a long time, we couldve continued and stood there for hours but we were in front of my house still and someone might see us together.

''We have to go'' I said breathless, Michael grabed my hand and smiled

''Okay, are you sure you want to do this'' Michael said seriously

''Of course, I do'' I answered

''You wont see him again, you do realize that?'' he said 

''Im fine with that, he doesnt treat me the way he used too when mom and dad were alive, his just mean, and is always getting in trouble, his turned dark'' I answered

''Alright, lets go'' Michael said 

We walked two blocks away from my house, when we finally got to Michael's car, he parked it far away just to be sure know one would see it. I quickly got in and Michael had the habit of putting on my seat belt, since the first day i met him he would do that. He closed the door and quickly got on the drivers seat and put on his seat belt. I looked in the back seat and saw our duffel bags, we had been planning thiss for weeks, I had gotten the duffel bag and put it in his car so I would quickly jump out the window. Michael drove to the train station, I grabed his hand, he smiled to me and squeezed my hand, he drove with only one hand the entire way. We finally arrived and he parked the car, we got our duffel bags from the back seat and walked to a nearby bench.

''Alright, I'm going to go buy the tickets'' Michael said 

He smiled to me and began to walk to the ticket booth

''Wait!!!'' I said 

Michael turned around and I walked over to him and kissed him, it wasnt one of those intense kisses, it was more like a soft and passionate kiss, I hugged him and let him go.

''Hurry up, I wanna be far away as possible'' I said 

''I will, but first I have to ask you a question'' Michael said 

With that he got on one knee and took out a black little box from one of his jacket pockets and smiled at me.

''Its been 8 years to day since we first met, I immediately fell in love with you, and I would love to spend my life with you'' Michael said 

He opened the black little box and in it was a ring

''Yes'' I said 

He stood up and i hugged him

''Let me go and buy our tickets, okay'' Michael said 

''Okay'' I said smiling through tears

''I love you, always remember that'' Michael said and smiled at me

''I love you too'' I said I didn't realize that that was the last time id ever see him alive

He turned around and walked over to the ticket booth, I sat down on the bench and looked down at my ring, and smiled. I took a deep breath and felt free, I was finally gonna live and breath and be happy. I heard footsteps coming towards me and I looked up thinking it was Michael, but gasped as I saw my brother ,William, in his black coat with his black wild hair moving in the winter wind.

''What are you doing here?'' I  asked as I stood from the bench

''Id like to ask you the same question?'' William said bitterly

''I'm leaving'' I said hoping Michael showed up

''With Michael, right?'' William said 

''It doesnt matter who i leave with'' I snapped

''Sister, get in my car and will go home'' William said 

''No'' I said 

''Little sister, you know how much I hate you answering back'' William said 

''I dont care''/ I answered 

''Of course you've been tainted, by a mundane'' William snapped

''That is...'' I said but was cut off short

''Your the greatest disappoint, but no matter I'll see you at home'' William said and quietly walked away and drove off.

I soon realized Michael was taking forever, I looked over to the ticket booth and was no longer there. I quickly searched for him but no luck.

''Michael!!!'' I yelled

I heard a whimper come from the alley behind the train station, I ran and saw Michael on the ground.

''Michael!!'' I yelled through tears

I fell to the ground right next to him, he was pale and tears filled his eyes, his chest rised and fell slowly it slowed by the seconds.

''I love you, I always will'' Michael said

I kissed him one last time, my mouth covered in blood, I stared at him and he smiled.

''I'll always love you, forever'' I replied 

''I want you to live go far away from this place, run'' He said 

He gasped and stopped breathing
