"you're a married man. you're married and you said all that stuff to me" i said and he nodded
"yes, i said that stuff to you"
"and normally, i would like the things you said to me, i mean i desperately wanted to hear those things. but you're married. which makes none of this normal. it makes me a marriage wrecker and i don't want to be a marriage wrecker" i said
"Sarah, take all the time you need to think. i told you all that because i mean it. i'm in love with you. and just so we're clear my marriage was already wrecked way before you came into the picture. i'm just now done trying to make it right" he said, "catching your wife with your best friend in bed pretty much ruins it"
"you're done?"
"no matter what you decide, i'm done. i ended it with Katie.... today" he said, "i'm in love with you, i want to be with you. not Katie"
"but why, i need to know why" i said
"because you twirl your hair when you're nervous, because your smile brightens my day. and because no matter what you go through, you never ever admit that you're hurting" he said
"and because we could get pneumonia out here. but if you need me to explain how much i love you, i could go on all night" he told me (A/N OTH scene😍)
i touched his cheek, letting my tears fall from my eyes
he leaned in,
attaching our lips once again, kissing in the rain, how cliche
"i'm so in love with you" he said in between kisses, "so in love"
