it's been a while since Matt and i shared a moment, we've been talking to each other so it isn't as awkward. still sorta awkward
"SARAH," Molly called my name from downstairs
she's been over everyday since my encounter with Matt
"what?" i called as i walked down the stairs
"hey," Matt said as he stood at the door
"oh hey," i smiled at him, he returned the smile
"you wanna go get some coffee or somethin?" he asked and i nodded but then looked at Molly. i couldn't just leave her here alone
she put her hands up, "you guys go and have fun" i smiled at her and she smirked, i looked back at Matt and he smiled

"so how's your day going?" Matt asked as we just sat in his car drinking our Starbucks
"good," i giggled, "what about you?"
"better now," he smiled and i could feel my face getting red
"you know, you're really pretty" he said and i covered my face
"stopppp" i whined and he chuckled
i looked up at him and he was video taping me
i closed my eyes and smiled a big smile making him laugh

"so how was your date?" Molly asked when i got home
i laughed at her
"it was good, plus it wasn't a date we were just grabbing coffee, as friends" i said and she rolled her eyes,
"whatever floats your boat"
"he did ask me to go with him to the dance Taylor's hosting" i said and she jumped with joy
i laughed at her and she stopped and smiled
"is Katie going?" i asked and she shrugged, "i don't know" she answered
"who cares?" I said as i jumped up, "i'm going with Matt"
now it was her turn to laugh

"wow" I heard from my door. it was Matt
i blushed looking down at my black dress
"you look beautiful" he tells me and i smile
"thank you handsome" i said as i grabbed my handbag and linked arms with his

we got to the dance and met up with rest of the crew
"dang girl you look smokin" Molly said to me as i walked up to hug her
she grabbed my butt and i laughed "aye molly my hands belong there" Matt said as he walked over and placed his hands on my butt, i could feel my face get red
he kissed my neck and then rested his face on my shoulder
"LETS GET TURNT" Taylor yelled and we all cheered

"Katie's leaving," Matt said as we sat on the porch, getting away from everyone in the house
"leaving?"
"yeah like leaving LA"
"that's nice. is she here?" i asked as i looked behind me
he shrugged, "i don't know i haven't really talked to her since she gave me the divorce papers this morning" he said as he took a drink of his beer
"divorce papers?" i asked and he nodded
"she filed for divorce this morning"
"oh, well that's good"
"all i have to do is sign them and i'm free, we're free" he said looking at me
"is there anything to think about?"
"no of course not. i have to read through them, sign them and then she'll be on the next plane outta here" he said and i nodded
"i'm sorry" i told him and he chuckled,
"what?" i asked
"you are so not sorry" he said and i shrugged,
"i was trying to be nice" i said laughing along with him, "but come on aren't you glad she'll be gone"
he nodded, "i cannot wait"
