Chapter Seven

*Garroth*

"Yea! You trying to flirt is cute," she laughed at me
"I can flirt!" I defended
"Mhm sure," she said sarcastically
"I can!" I laughed
"Really? Then how come Aphmau isn't your girlfriend yet?" She asked
"W-what?! H-how did you-" I questioned before she cut me off
"It pretty obvious," she smiled
"Ughhh," I groaned as I fell back into the sand
"You'll get better, you just have to practice," she told me
"Practice? How am I supposed to practice?!" I said staring at the sky
"Well you can practice flirting to anything really, alive things, not alive things, here try something on me," she said to me and I tensed up.

"You want me to practice flirting... On you?" I gulped nervously
"Yea, go ahead." She said turning to face me in the sand
"Um alright... You look very beautiful today?" I said
"Aw thank you Garroth," she replied
"Don't mention it, anything for a kind and gorgeous girl like you," I said nervously
"Mm- no. Too creepy-ish" she said
"Then what do I say?" I asked
"Say no problem, and then change the subject. Ask her a question or talk about something she likes," she told me
"No problem, do you wanna go get something to eat?" I asked
"Sure! See that was better," she winked at me
"Ugh thanks," I said
"No problem, we should probably head back now, it's getting dark." She said standing up
"What? No! I mean- let's go swimming first." I said nervously
"But it's getting dark-" I cut her off
"Are you scared?" I asked her smirking
"Scared of what? The water? N-no," she said shaking her head
"Then why don't you wanna swim?" I asked her
"I don't know how! okay!" She said with a groan before stomping off
"Woah- Kyler wait!" I said chasing after her and grabbing her arm making her face me, her eyes filled with tears
"Hey I'm sorry. If you want to go back we can, or I can teach you how to swim," I said feeling bad
"You'd do that?" She asked looking up at me
"Of course I would," I smiled
"Okay then," she said before we walked back to the beach.

I took off my cover armor and took off my shirt. She dropped her jacket and scarf.

She also had shorts on under her jeans. So she slipped her jeans off.

"Alright, come on," I said walking into the cold water
"I'm scared," she said as the water came up to her waist
"Come on, you can do it," I said holding out my hand for her to grab
"What if I drown!?" She said grabbing my hand
"I won't let you drown Kyler," I chuckled
"Promise?" She asked
"I promise," I smiled and she nodded before continuing to walk deeper.

Soon enough she couldn't stand and she clinged onto my side. I could still stand considering I was significantly taller than her.

"I'm gonna drown," she whispered
"Your not gonna drown," I chuckled
"Are you sure?" She asked
"Positive. Come here where you can stand a little and watch me," I said walking to a spot where she could stand and she got off of me
"I'm not dead yet, which is a good sign," she nervously laughed
"Alright you have to trust yourself and go like this," I said motioning.

"I'm doing it!" She beamed as she swam closer to me
"Good job!" I smiled as she reached me
"Can we get out now? It's dark," she said grabbing my arm for support
"Haha yea," I smiled as we swam back to shore.

We got back onto the sand. We walked over to our dry clothes and slipped them on.

She zipped her jacket up and tied the scarf tighter than normal. She folded her arms while shivering.

"Here," I said as I handed her my shirt armor piece
"N-no you'll b-be cold," she said shaking her head
"I'll be fine," I said
"T-thanks," she said as she slid it on.

I slid my helm on and the rest of my armor.

I walked up to her. The moon was bright and it reflected off her blue eyes.

"Ready?" I asked her
"Yup," she said.

We started heading back. Except it wasn't time to go back yet. I had an idea though.

"I swear we've passed this tree four times now!" She said frustrated
"Trust me I know where I'm going!" I said
"Are you sure? Maybe you only know where your going when the sun is out!" She said
"Then maybe we should make a small camp and wait till morning!" I said smirking because she couldn't see
"Maybe we should!" She said
"Okay then," I chuckled as we walked to a small clearing for the third time
"I'll get some wood for a fire," she said rolling her eyes.

I moved some rocks around into a big circle. I then cleared the inside of the circle before placing little pine needles in it.

Kyler came back and placed big sticks in the center of the circle.

"How are we going to-" she cut me off
"I've got this," she said before holding out her hand.

A ball of fire formed before she blew on it. It flew forward and onto the pile of sticks.

"Woah," I whispered and she turned to me
"If you think that's cool you should see the other things I can do... But we'll save that for another time," she said
"Hmm okay, well we should get some rest," I told her
"Agreed," she said as she sat down on the ground before lying flat.

I did the same. I laid on the ground, somewhat near her.

My eyes slowly closed before everything went black.

A/N: GARROTH IS BACK IN MCD BITCHES!! WHOOOOOH! I'm so happy it's not even funny.

I forgive Aaron now that I know he did it to save Garroth for Aphmau. But I have no soul because I don't even care that he's gone...

Because #Garmau will sail.
