Chapter Sixteen

*Kyler*

The only light in the dark room was the necklace and bracelet me and Laurence had on.

"Trying to escape?" Zanes voice echoed, we all stayed quiet.

"To bad. Maybe after the wedding you three can be released, but one of you isn't leaving," he said
"Kyler? What does he mean?" Aphmau asked
"I agreed to marry him so that I could save Garroth." I gulped
"You what!?" Garroth shouted
"I'm sorry! I couldn't let you die!" I said as I started tearing up
"Haha that's right and now she will be my bride and I shall rule the realms!" Zane laughed
"I'm sorry," I said as tears slipped down my cheeks.

Garroth came up to me and engulfed me in a hug. I rested my head on his chest as I cried.

"How come he can hug you but I can't?" Laurence asked
"I can't hurt him anymore. I made a deal to marry Zane to save Garroth, which means I can't hurt him." I said pulling away from the hug
"Then doesn't that mean he can take the bracelet off?" Aphmau asked
"I don't know and I'm not going to have him try. It hurt him too much last time," I said hiding my wrist from them.

Everyone was now brainstorming ideas on how to get us out of here. It was pretty silent because we were all thinking.

"Why are your necklace and bracelet still glowing?" Aphmau pointed out
"I don't know," I said
"They usually stop once you and Laurence are together," Garroth pointed out
"Come here," I told Laurence and he stood up and walked over to me.

I took my necklace off and he took the bracelet off. I took it and put both of them in my hand.

A bright light flashed and I covered my eyes. I slowly removed my arm away from my eyes.

The charms had formed into a red glowing key. I looked at Laurence. We were both shocked.

I gently picked it up and examined it. I then lifted my other arm up. The bracelet had a key hole.

The key fit perfectly. I carefully twisted the key around and the bracelet popped off. It fell to the floor.

Another bright flash was seen and the bracelet and necklace were back to normal.

I picked up the evil bracelet and slid it in my back pocket. I handed Laurence his bracelet and tied my necklace back on.

I smirked. Everyone else looked confused.

"I have an idea." I stated.

"Kyler, I only find it fitting that you come spend a few hours out of your cell before our wedding," Zane said coming in the cell
"Whatever," I said, no emotion at all while following him.

I had used my powers to disguise Laurence's bracelet as the evil one.

"Your dress is in there, make sure to look nice. I want my bride to have the best wedding ever," he smiled
"If it was the best wedding ever, I wouldn't be here with you." I spat as I walked in the room
"Oh come on, you'll learn to love me," he smiled and I kept quiet before I closed the door and started changing.

"Look all your friends have decided to attend the wedding!" Zane smirked pointing to my friends tied against the chairs.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I was handed a bouquet of flowers.

Somehow Zane had gotten all his shadow Knights back. Two little ones walked in front of me as I walked down the center isle.

I walked up and faced Zane. I gulped and turned to see Garroth and Laurence enraged.

The priest said his long speech about marriage.

"Do you Zane take Kyler to be your wife?" He asked
"I do," Zane said holding my hands
"Do you Kyler take Zane to be your husband?" He asked, this was my cue
"I- I don't!" I yelled before I transformed and Zane flew back and hit the wall.

I ran over to him and grabbed the evil bracelet. I used my powers to change the lock spell.

I quickly stuck it on his wrist and then ran.

I untied all my friends before transforming back to normal. We all ran out towards the exit of the nether.

"That was crazy," I said as we walked down the path to Phoenix drop after explaining to the werewolves that we solved the problem.
"Agreed," Laurence nodded.

We walked for about ten minutes before coming to the edge of the town. I was so happy to be back.

My stomach had butterflies in it and twisted in knots as we approached.

Why?

I couldn't stop thinking about Dante. The day at the beach. And of course the kiss.

I smiled at the thought of it. We continued walking.

I imagined Dante would be at the plaza so I headed there first.

The others followed me. As we approached I could see his flaming blue hair.

As we got closer I saw another bright color standing near him. Bright pink.

Kawaii-Chan probably. I walked over to say hi.

Instead neither of them saw me. Dante grabbed her face and leaned in.

I stopped walking. I stopped dead in my tracks.

As they both pulled away from the kiss she giggled and smiled as he winked at her.

I quickly turned around trying not to cry. Laurence looked at me and then at Dante.

He looked like he was about to chop someone's head off. Garroth came up to me but I just pushed him and ran.

I ran to my house and locked myself in.
