Chapter Thirteen

*Kyler*

"What?" I asked confused
"I'll show you," he said before making a sharp turn and pulling me along
"Kyler! help us!" My mothers voice yelled
"That's them?" I asked looking at the two floating orbs behind bars
"Yes, it's a spell," he said
"Woah, wait... Are you going to do that to me?!" I asked, a sudden terror flooding my mind
"Hehe, no I have better plans for you," he said before yanking me along
"What plans?" I asked
"Can you just stop asking questions?!" He yelled
"Geez sorry," I said rolling my eyes.

We walked into a room with two thrones. My mothers and my fathers.

"Go sit on that one," he said
"You trust that I won't run away?" I asked raising an eyebrow
"You can't get very far, that bracelet restrains your powers and you can't be very far away from me with it on," he said
"Oh," I said quietly before walking over to the throne and sitting down on it
"Hmm, yes, now come here," he said and I stood up
"What are you even doing?" I asked
"You'll see," he said.

*Garroth*

I woke up to the sound of Aphmau yelling. I quickly stood up and grabbed my sword.

"What's going on?!" I yelled
"Kylers gone!" She yelled and my eyes widened
"She couldn't have gone far," I said worriedly
"You guys," Laurence said
"What?" Aphmau asked
"Do you think she went in there?" He said pointing to the cave
"I told her not to-" I cut Aphmau off
"She doesn't listen, c'mon," I said before running into the cave and through the portal.

*Kyler*

"While they are getting you ready I'll explain to you what's going on," Zane said as female shadow nights dressed me in a white dress
"You know that your very special. You have the potential to do very evil things. You could take over the world, you could take over realms." He said
"I'm not evil," I said
"But you are. You know that deep down you are brutal and you don't care about anyone or anything," he smirked
"No that's not true!" I shouted before one of the shadow nights covered my mouth
"You being a descendant of Lady Shadow means that you can control the nether and every shadow night with your powers. I am not a shadow night but I share the same interest as Lady Shadow. Power, and destruction. You can help me achieve that," he smirked
"How?" I asked glaring
"Marrying me," he chuckled before leaving.

What!? No. No no no no no. Not happening.

I tried standing up but the shadow Knights pushed me back down. They continued to dress me and do my hair.

"You look lovely," Zane smirked.

He was no longer wearing his scarf and hood. He was wearing a suit. He looked like an emo and evil version of Garroth.

The Shadow Knights pushed me towards him making me stumble forward.

He quickly caught me before I face planted. He smiled and helped me up. Both my hands were still behind my back.

"Ready to be my bride?" He asked smirking
"Never," I said
"Aw don't be like this on your big day," he smiled
"This isn't my big day," I spat
"Your right! It's mine!" He chuckled before he walked up to an altar.

More Knights came and dragged me to the front of the isle. I would not walk down it.

I was pushed forward. I tried transforming but it wouldn't work. Soon I was face to face with Zane.

A shadow knight with a book in his hand started stating the marriage things.

"Do you Zane, take Kyler to be your wife?" He asked
"I do," Zane evilly smirked
"Do you Kyler, take Zane to be your husband?" He asked me
"No." I said and Zane grabbed my throat and started choking me
"Say yes," he glared
"F-ine..... I- I d-do!" I choked before he let me go and I inhaled loudly
"Then you may seal your love with a kiss," he said as Zane leaned in and I leaned back
"ZANE?!" Garroth's voice echoed and I mentally screamed
"Of course!" Zane yelled frustrated
"What is going on?" Laurence asked
"We are in the middle of a wedding here!" Zane said and I mouthed 'help me'
"You are not marrying her!" Garroth said angrily
"Why not brother? Do you have a crush on her?" He asked in a baby voice... Wait brother?
"N-no! But she wouldn't marry someone like you!" He yelled
"Well she said I do, and I have witnesses," he said shrugging his shoulders
"You said yes?!" Aphmau yelled
"She did, and now please excuse me while we seal the deal with a kiss," he said as he grabbed my face.

I shut my eyes tight expecting to feel lips on mine. But instead he let go of my face.

I opened my eyes. Garroth had his sword to Zane's neck. Laurence quickly grabbed me and flung me over his shoulder.

He started running. Garroth and Aphmau following behind us.

We got to the portal and Laurence ran through. As soon as everyone got through an excruciating pain stung throughout my entire body.

I started screaming and everyone surrounded me.

"Kyler!? What's wrong!" Garroth yelled
"The bracelet she has on is glowing," Aphmau pointed as tears flowed down my cheeks from pain
"I- have- t-to go b-back!" I yelled
"What?!" Laurence yelled
"T-the bracelet, I-is connected to Z-Zane," I shouted before I stumbled backward into the portal.

As I fell backwards someone caught me. I wasn't in the overworld anymore.

I looked up to see the face of who caught me.

Zane.
