Chapter Twenty

*Kyler*

I giggled as I watched Rex fly behind me, he looked so happy to be out of the cavern.

Before we left I had to be knocked out again. Garroth carried me out until I woke up.

I never got to ask him about the kiss. I guess that can wait for another time though.

"He's so cute," Garroth smiled as we approached the village
"I know right!" I laughed as he swooped down next to my leg and snuggled up to it
"I should go find Aph-" Garroth was cut off by a bunch of yelling
"THERE SHE IS!!" Travis called out
"What are they doing?" I asked as the ran towards us
"I have no idea," Garroth said confused as he placed his helmet over his head.

Aphmau was at the front of the group. She had a sword in her hand and she ran towards me.

Before I knew it there was a white sword pressed against my neck. My eyes widened at Aphmau.

"What are you doing?!" I shouted
"Shut up! You know what you are! We all know your plans!" She snapped
"Woah! Aphmau what's going on?" Garroth said sternly
"She's going to kill me and take over the village!" Aphmau shouted
"What?!" I asked confused
"Don't act surprised! I found your diary! She's a descendant of Lady Shadow, she'll kill us all!" She snapped
"Diary? I don't even have a diary!" I yelled
"Shut up you liar! I have proof right here! I'm not letting you corrupt this village!" She yelled
"Aphmau, what are you doing?!" I yelled as tears filled my eyes and I looked around at the group of people.

Dante, Travis, Kawaii~Chan, Aaron, Zoey, Levin, Donna, Logan, everyone. They all looked enraged.

But the worst part of all was Laurence standing right next to Aphmau. His eyes piercing into my soul.

"Laurence-" I pleaded as Aphmau glared at me
"I'm not talking to you! You traitor!" He spat
"Laurence what are you doing?! She's your little sister! Aphmau you are not yourself! You know Kyler isn't bad!" Garroth yelled
"Kill her Garroth," Aphmau said stepping back
"W-what?" Garroth asked taken back
"Kill Kyler." She ordered and I looked frantically at Garroth
"Aphmau, I can't-" he was cut off
"Then I'll have Laurence do it and he'll be the new head guard!" She yelled as Laurence walked up to me.

He gripped his green sword and raised it above his head. He looked down at me like I was nothing.

"I'm sorry Laurence, I really am-" I said before I covered my face with my arms in an 'X' formation.

A flash of white light blasted through the village. Everyone in the big group was flung backwards.

I quickly stood up and looked around. Rex ran to my side and I frantically looked around for Garroth.

"Kyler, get out of here," he said on the ground
"I'm sorry," I cried before I turned and ran into the forest.

Soon they were all following me. I dodged the trees as I ran and Rex flew behind me.

I found myself in the werewolf village. I was still being chased. I stopped and looked behind me.

Laurence came running towards me with a sword. I had to think fast. I couldn't hurt him.

I've got it! The nether portal. I have to.

I quickly dodged him and ran into the cave. The nether portal was already lit.

I grabbed Rex and ran into the portal. Before I knew it I was in the red realm.

I knew Aphmau wouldn't follow me in here. It was too dangerous.

Suddenly reality hit me. I couldn't go back. They all hated me for some reason.

I didn't even have a diary. How could Aphmau have my diary with evil plans of I didn't even keep one?

Where would I live? Where would I go? I turned my head to the left.

I guess the only place I could go was the castle. But, Zane.

It's my only hope. I sighed before I started walking with Rex in my arms.

At least he didn't hate me. I can't believe they all turned on me. Without explanation. Even Dante and Laurence.

"Zane?" I called out as I climbed the stairs
"Who goes there?" A voice called
"Zane? It's Kyler!" I called
"Back to marry me?" He chuckled
"I'm your dreams! I'm here-" I was cut off as I walked in the room where Zane was sitting on a throne
"You were chased into here, you can't go back, I know. It happened to me too," he nodded
"How did-" I was cut off again
"I watched it happen, with magic," he said
"Do you know why they did it then?" I asked
"Sadly I do not, but I do know that you can't go back. They will throw you in jail, or worse, kill you," he said
"They already tried that," I said
"Hm I see, your are welcome to stay here. I won't force you to marry me again. I just got angered when I saw my brother, he reminded me of my past and all my revenge urges came back," he said
"I- wait how did you use magic? I thought that bracelet restricted it!" I said
"It does, but it doesn't stop me from having visions,"  he said
"Oh," I nodded
"Who's this?" He asked motioning to the Wyvern
"Rex, my Wyvern," I said as Rex squaked at Zane
"I see, he's cute," he replied
"Thanks," I smiled at Rex
"Kyler?" He asked
"Yes?" I replied
"Can you teach me to be good, I want to be accepted again, I don't want people to fear me," he said with a look sorrow in his eyes
"I thought you'd never ask," I smirked.
