some letters are longer than others, some days i have loads to tell you - well, to tell a piece of paper, you'll probably never read these - and some days i just write one word and start crying.
i'm trying to be strong, really, i am.
i'm trying for you, and for your mom, and for lacey; because i seem to be the only one with 107% optimism, and i'm worried that if i throw that away, there'll be none left.
and it might just be me being superstitious, but i'm worried that if i give up, you will too.
but when no one else is around, i just break down.
