Luke's P.O.V
"He remembers everything. Every single thing. I can't believe he's not pissed off about the whole thing. I can't believe he doesn't want to kill Ron himself. It's starting to worry me," Rick tells us.
"I'm almost positive this is some form of coping. His way may be weird, but it's good he's coping. Once he gets done, I'm sure he'll want his revenge," Denise says reassuringly.
It's been a day since Carl woke up. Rick has been asking him questions every few hours to make sure his memory is okay. It is. Rick finally stopped quizzing him this morning. It's about time he ran out of questions. Denise, Rick, and I are talking in the kitchen while eating our breakfast. Carl's still asleep.
"I don't know. The Carl I got to know seemed very calm and forgiving. Like he wouldn't even hurt a fly," I say.
"You haven't been around him long enough. Carl can and will do anything to protect the ones he cares for," Rick adds.
What exactly has Carl done in the past? I barely know this kid. What is he capable of?
"Just because I did it doesn't mean I'm proud of it," Carl says entering the kitchen.
"I'm sorry, Carl. I didn't know you were awake. How are you feeling today? Rick asks.
"Pretty good, actually. I just have a slight head ache. I'm not all that dizzy either."
He grabs a bowl, pours some cereal, and sits at the table in between me and Rick.
"I kinda wanna take a walk around Alexandria today, get some fresh air," Carl tells us.
"Do you really think that's a good idea? I mean, remember what happened last time we took a walk?" I say with a smirk.
He laughs.
"Yeah well, I'll take my chances."
"I think it's a good idea, you need some fresh air. But.. um.. Just don't go near Ron's house, okay?" Denise adds.
"I wasn't planning on it. Dad, does anyone know about my eye?"
"Yeah, I think everyone does. That's not something I could keep quiet. But I don't think anyone would stare though. Don't worry about it."
"Yeah, sure they won't. Before I forget to ask, how many died in our group?"
"Just a couple. Tara, Abraham, Father Gabriel, and Rosita."
"Michonne's alive then?"
Rick smiles before answering.
"Yes, she's alive. She's with Deanna at her house. Along with Maggie and Glenn."
Carl looks to me.
"Are you ready, Luke?"
"Yeah, let's go."
Enid's P.O.V
"He's alive! Why the hell did you just tell me?! You should've told me yesterday!" I yell.
"He's in a coma. I don't know when he'll wake up. That's why I didn't want to tell you. And another reason is because of Ron. I'm worried he might try to hurt Carl again," Jessie replies.
"How the hell is he not dead?! My bullet went straight through his damn head!" Ron yells still restrained to the chain.
"When he wakes up, I'm going to bring him to you and I'm going to let him get his revenge," I taunt.
"Stop it, Enid. No one is going to get revenge on Ron," Jessie says.
"Can I be untied now?"
"Carl's still alive. Definitely not. Like Jessie said, you're not getting another chance to hurt him."
