Ron's P.O.V
I can't believe he stood there and talked to him after I warned him he was dangerous. Luke seriously needs to learn to follow directions.

"Ron, Enid is here! I'll send her up!" Jessie, my mom, yells from the front door.

A few minutes later, Enid enters my room.

"Hey, Ron. What's up?"

"Nothing. Luke and Carl talked yesterday after he left here."

"Okay, so? Luke can be friends with whoever he wants."

She walks over and sits on my bed beside me.

"Whatever."

Carl's P.O.V
"Carl, me and Michonne are helping sturdy the walls from the attack. If you need one of us, that's where we'll be," my dad, Rick, says as they walk out the door.

"Alright," I respond.

I'm supposed to go over and get Luke today. I really hope this goes well, I need a guy friend. Scratch that, I just need a friend. Enid's great and all, but I feel like I'm sharing her with Ron. I want a friend that actually feels like one. It feels like Enid is just floating around. Trying to decide which one she wants, me or Ron. I finish my breakfast and head to get Luke.

Ron's P.O.V
"I really hate that kid," I say coldly.

"Who? Carl? Are we really talking about him again?" Enid asks annoyed.

"I hate Carl. And Rick. Oh, look, there he is," I say peering out the window.

"For someone who hates him, you sure do talk about him a lot."

"I wonder where he's going? Most likely to screw up something else."

Luke's P.O.V
I can't believe Carl hasn't gotten here yet. I figured he would be here by now. Just them, I hear a knock on the door. That's gotta be him.

"Hey, Luke!" Carl says excitedly.

"Hey, Carl!"

I shut the door behind me and we start walking to his house. On our way there, we pass by Mikey. He gives us a disgusted stare. I think the stare was directed more to Carl than me. Hopefully. I don't need anyone hating me just yet.

"Wow. He really is stuck up Ron's ass. He could have at the very least smiled or said hey or something," I say.

"Yeah, well now you know just how persuasive Ron can be. Personally, I think part of it is Mikey has a thing for Ron."

"Really? I guess I can see that. Mikey does sort of give off that vibe."

By now, we're entering Carl's house. It's surprisingly empty.

"Where is everyone?" I ask.

"Oh, my dad and Michonne are helping reinforce a panel of the walls. They're our constables by the way."

"Oh, cool."

"So, tell me about yourself."

"What do you wanna know?"

"How come you were alone? What happened to your parents?"

"I'd rather not talk about that. They're gone and they're never coming back."

"I understand. My mom died giving birth to my sister, Judith. Judith didn't survive long after she was born. We couldn't keep her fed. It's like baby formula never existed."
