5. The Bartender Is Definitely Dead
We were seated in Jason's car, me riding shotgun while Anna and Kay were in the backseat. He'd been extremely punctual, which was very unusual of him, and had picked us up at seven.
I had planned on wearing a very simple floral top but Kay had forced me to wear my black sequin knee-length dress at which she had looked longingly saying it was the most beautiful dress she had ever seen.
She'd done my make up perfectly and curled my blonde hair. She'd done an incredibly amazing job considering the fact that Jason complimented me. He never compliments me.
She was wearing a pretty white lace dress that reached just above her knees. She had braided her long brown hair, Katniss Everdeen style and blushed profusely when Jason said she looked hot.
Brianna was dressed in a pretty red crop top which wasn't very short, and a pair of ripped jeans and this punk look suited her a lot. Her blonde hair was up in a ponytail and her make up was on point.
As Jason parks the car, I see a lot of girls staring, as we get out of it.
Jason ignores all of them who whisper amongst themselves excitedly, and leads us into the party hall. It is so dark inside, I mentally curse myself for having worn heels because I stamp almost seven people's feet on my way to the seating area.
Finally when we reach the couch in the corner of the hall, I take a seat and the others do the same.
A lot of people are already dancing away on the dance floor and the DJ has an incredibly amazing play list.
A few seconds later, as 'On The Floor' begins to play, a red haired girl comes up to us and Jason goes off with her without even bothering to give us a second glance. Kay looks at her with jealousy, her fists clenched.
This crush on my brother was getting a little too serious for my comfort. I needed to tell Kay about his playboy ways.
Giving me no time to think any further, at that very moment a dark haired boy approaches us and asks Kay if she would dance with him. Kay looks at us and when we urge her to go on, her eyes light up as she says yes and he leads her to the dance floor, both of them bouncing on their feet.
Brianna and I watch as Kay laughs at something the boy said and dances away like there's no tomorrow.
I SHIP IT!
A few minutes later, Jason comes back to us and offers us some drink.
I raise an eyebrow at him. "Not spiked? No alcohol? Promise on the River Styx?"
"I promise. It's just orange juice. If you want more, you'll get it there." He points towards the end of the bar. "Not spiked." He says and goes back to the red haired girl who is waiting patiently for him.
"Your brother is really considerate," Anna says and I'm not sure if she's being sarcastic. As if she just read my thoughts, she adds, "Not being sarcastic. He seriously brought us drinks when he had more important things to do," she says, pointing at Jason and the girl who's arms are around Jason's neck.
I take a sip of my drink. This orange juice is really good.
I need more!
