13. I Will Have To Spend The Rest Of My Life In The Himalayas
"Wake me up when it's all over.
When I'm wiser and I'm older. "I quickly shut my alarm and groggily sit up in bed. Anna and Kay are fast asleep so I tiptoe to the bathroom.
I freshen up and pocketing my phone, check the time. I've got just fifteen minutes left so I try to be as quiet as I can as I lock the door behind me and rush down the corridor to the main building of the college.
As I approach the Music Class Room, I notice that it's doors are wide open but no one seems to be inside.
I slowly walk to the store room and flop down on a stool, next to a long table. I take out my phone, with nothing else to do and start going through my messages.
After we exchanged numbers, Liz made a group of the six of us. There are just some 'goodnight' messages and that's pretty much it. Everyone must still be asleep.
A knock on the door startles me and my gaze turns towards the tall, muscular figure leaning against the door frame, wearing a black, skin tight t-shirt, his muscles prominently visible and though I know that I shouldn't stare at him, I find my eyes locked onto his.
He is holding a guitar in his hand and his signature cocky grin is etched on his face, as he poses like he is modelling for some fashion magazine.
I look away and quickly put my phone on the table, as Tyler drags a stool and sits across from me.
"Too eager to meet me, sweetheart? Five minutes early to class!" he says, wiggling his eyebrows, leaning towards me. I roll my eyes at him but he continues to grin like an idiot.
I force myself to breathe slowly, so that I don't have an outburst right now. I'm short on sleep and my brain normally doesn't function whenever I haven't had my eight-hour sleep. I don't want to say anything now, that I'd regret later.
Tyler seems to find this amusing because he just leans closer and whispers, "Didn't know you were preparing yourself so well for our little practice session, here. Breathing exercises to calm yourself down eh?"
He seems unfazed by the glare that I send his way because he sings, "Don't be scared, cause I'm your body type." He winks at me and I look at him in disgust.
Practise Session? Body Type? Gross!!!
I scoff at him and with my finger, push his shoulder back so that we're at a safe distance from each other. "If we could go about our music practice, it would be better and more productive. Or do you want me to tell Mrs. Anderson that her golden boy nephew is a pervert and is harassing his music partner?"
My comments seem to have absolutely no effect as Tyler moves closer, biting his lower lip, and taking a strand of my hair in his finger, twirls it around. "So you want me to harass you, huh?"
I AM DONE WITH THIS BOY.
I get up hastily and turn to leave but Tyler's fingers wrap around my wrist and turning me around, he pulls me down, towards him.
