Chapter 44

I stare at Ryan as he gets up. Boy, he looks pissed but man he looks so fucking hot. I threw my phone at my bag and start backing away slowly. "So you were the one who buried me in the sand?" He said walking towards me , raising an eyebrow.

"They helped me out." I shouted pointing at Amanda and the guys.

"Is that so?" He continues to get closer as I walk back and I gulped.

Then out of nowhere, he lunges at me and I jump back, getting away from his grasp. I take off my flip flops to run faster but Ryan picks me up bridal style, then puts me over his shoulder.

"Ryan put me down!" I shouted.

"Oh, I'll put you down alright." He said flashing his devious smile at me and I realize where he's taking me.

"Ryan, please I'm sorry!" I said.

"It's too late to apologize!" He said laughing at me.

"Oh haha. Using your own song title on me right?" I answered back.

"You got it." He said smirking at me. Oh man I just love the way he does that.

"Ryan please put me down!" I pleaded him as he got near the water.

"You know I just love it when you beg me."

"So you'll put me down?"

"Hmmm... Okay!" He exclaimed and tosses me in the water and I start to shiver. Oh my god! The water is so cold.

I come back to the surface to see Ryan laughing at me.

Oh yeah? Quickly, I grab Ryan and pull him in and I start laughing at him.

"Oh, you think that's funny?" He said as swam closer to me.

"Why yes, yes I do." I said as I swam towards him as well. He grabs me by the waist and pulls me towards him, as I place my hands on his firm shoulders and I gently press my lips against his, feeling sparks throughout my entire body.

"We should probably get to the others." I said as I pulled away from him.

"We should, but I don't want to." He smiles deviously at me. I roll my eyes at him and splash him. He gives me a you-better-run-before-I-catch-you look and I get away from his grasp as fast as possible.

I get to the sand and hide behind Drew. I was gonna hide behind Brent, but he's with Amanda. I grabbed Drew and pushed him in front of Ryan.

"Drew protect me!" I shouted and he sidesteps Ryan.

"What? No way that's between you two." He said casually eating a banana.

After Ryan chases me down, the five of us decide to play volleyball. We decided to play boys against girls.

Both Amanda and I are great volleyball players, so this should be interesting.

Amanda's P.O.V

I hate the fact Kim and her boyfriend are trying to play Matchmaker to hook up Brent and me. But I do admit he's cute. But why is he so shy? I would just love to know what he's thinking right now.

"AMANDA LOOK ALIVE!" I heard Kimberly shout at me. I see the ball about to hit the floor, so I dove to the sand, hitting the ball upwards and Kim spikes the ball hitting the other side.

"Booyah!" said Kim. She's very competitive when it comes to sports.

"Great job kiddo!" She said as she helped me up from the sand.

"Thanks, and I'm three years older than you." I scoffed and she laughs.

I brush the sand off me and I notice Brent eyeballing me. Well, more like checking me out, and I blush. He's so tall. Thank god I'm wearing my good bikini and white shorts. Hmmm, this would be the perfect time to mess around with him a little bit.

Ryan throws the ball at Kim and she serves the ball and hits it over the net. Brent hits the ball back to me and I hit it back almost barely going over the other side of the net and I see both Ryan and Kim running towards it. Of course we won't be able to get these two off each other later. Anyways, they run towards the ball. Ryan jumps as high as he can, and Kimberly jumps higher I see Brent staring at me, so I decide to wink and wave at him and he waves back.

"Brent watch out!" Shouted Drew.

He turns around and the ball hits Brent in the face and I see Kim putting her hands to her mouth.

Both Ryan and Drew start laughing hard and they both fall down clutching their stomachs, while both Kimberly and I rush over to his side and help him up.

"Oh my god Brent I'm so sorry!" Said Kimberly as she and I hugged him.

"Whoa, whoa Brent! You're gonna steal my girl?" Said Ryan as he got up and walked towards us with Drew. The two of them still laughing.

"Brent are you alright?" I asked sweetly.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He answered staring at me. It's like he's staring at my soul with those blue-green eyes. They're so beautiful.
