Chapter 39: Well That Was Awkward?

Ryan's P.O.V

"Hello?"

"Dude, where the hell were you last night?" Said Zach. He sounds like he drank a lot last night.

"I was with Kimberly last night. You know my girlfriend?"

"Oh yeah! that's right! Hey guys Ryan finally got laid last night!" He said shouting at the other guys.

"Damn it Zach shut the fuck up!" I mutter into the phone. Kim's sleeping and I don't want to wake her up.

Then I hear Zach and Eddie fighting for the phone.

"Zach give me the phone!"

"It's my phone asshole!"

"I wanna talk to him!"

"Will you two shut up!" I said into the phone

"Hey Ryan!" Shouted Eddie.

"Are you guys at the recording studio?"

"Yeah! Just gotta lay out some tracks with Eddie and myself. Brent and Smith got it covered. So you can get the day off." Said Zach

"Are you sure? You don't need help with anything?" I asked.

"Ryan we're gonna be fine. Besides, you need the day off, you've been working way too much lately so just relax dude and don't catch me near the studio or else I'll kick your ass." Joked Zach.

"Alright then, then I'll talk to you guys later."

"Alright man see ya! Tell your girlfriend I said hi!"

"HI KIMMY!!" Shouted Eddie from the background.

"I swear the both of you act like children." I said through clenched teeth so I wouldn't wake her up.

They both laugh and I hang up.

"Those two are just hilarious aren't they?" Said Kimberly catching me off

I turn around and see propped up on her elbow.

"Geez! You almost gave me a heart attack." I said and she giggles at me.

"I can't have that happen." She said as ran her fingers across my hair.

I laid back down on the bed and pull her close to me.

"I have great news." I said as I tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Really? What is it?" She asked, taking her hand from my hair and running her fingers through my stubble.

"I'm going to have Copeland for the weekend." I said smiling.

"Honey that's great!" She said as she pressed her lips against mine.

"I want you to meet him." I said cautiously.

Her eyes widen. Crap! Is it too early for her to meet little Copeland? Wait. Why is she smiling?

"Of course sweetheart." She said kissing me again and I deepen the kiss and I feel her straddling me.

"This is a nice way of waking up." I said smiling at her.

"It would be true if you've just woken up, but your buddies woke you up." She said as she kissed my forehead.

I flip her over and got on top of her and start kissing her. As things got a little.... tense? Out of nowhere.

"Hey Kim do you have a blou.... Oh My God! Kim!" Shouted her roommate as she walked in unannounced.

"Oh shit!" I shout as I fall off and I see Kim jumping off the bed.

"Ummmm... Hi." Said Kimberly as she blushes.

I quickly get up from the floor. Thank god I'm wearing my boxers.

"So you're Ryan?" Asked her roommate.

"Uh yes, yes I am." I said cautiously.

"Hmmm." She said as she starts eyeing me up and down.

Okay? This is awkward. She turns to Kim, then to me, and then back at Kim.

"Girl, you are one lucky bitch." She said smiling at the both of us, walks away and closes the door behind her.

"Uh, what just happened?" I asked Kimberly.

"I am just as confused as you are." She answered back.
