To be honest, this hasn't exactly been a highlight reel, huh? Well, I figure'd now'd be as good a time as any to talk about who I am and what a normal day looks like, seeing as you're about up-to-date with the scoliosis. I am, at a glance, quite the typical teenage girl. Leggings, oversized sweatshirts (tight shirts show my crooked waistline, which I haven't quite come to terms with yet), you get the gist. I have a few close friends, and although I'm not popular, I'm not unpopular either. I have been involved in theater since I was little, and have been swimming for quite a while now. I love to sing and make music, or even just noise in general.
I get pretty good grades, but on my bad days it can be hard for me to find it in myself to really care at all about schoolwork. Walking through the halls every day is a great way to be acutely aware of your height, which, in my case, means I'm constantly looking down on people. Today is a good day. Tomorrow might be too, I never know until I get there. Either way, now that you're just about up to date, I'm going to be writing this a bit like a diary most of the time. I'm sorry this chapter was so short, I just wanted to let you know what I'm doing. Sit tight with me! Love you guys.
