"Er, G---Good morning, " Kris greeted. "Did I miss something?? Was there a party last night??" she asked her eyes looking at Matt.

"Nah. We were just chilling out. Catching up on old times. Catching up some cheating bastards.." Matt answered.

Chris glared at him again ready to pounce. That's when Kris noticed the bruise on Chris's jaw.

"Chris!!," she said horrified. "Where did you get that bruise??"

"Just some stupid mugger across the room." He spat out. He stilled when Kris hands went up to expect him. God. The cruelity of it all, Kris didn't even remembered what happened last night.

"Whoever did this.," she paused. Chris looked and waited. "really missed big time. Really was he blind?? He couldn't even hit you squarely on the jaw." His jaw dropped.

Matt laughed and ruffled Kris's hair.

"Wait I'll get the ice bag." Kris said and looked at Chris again. She tried putting ice at his jawline. "Really Chris was there some mugger last night. Must have been the mugger that's following me." Kris thought.

Christian snorted. Some mugger.

It was Sunday. Kris was planning to go to the mall to buy the dress that she was saving up for. When she went to use the bathroom, she heard Christian talking with somebody.

"Hi babe. I'm coming over. I missed you."

Oh! He was talking about his girlfriend. She felt a sudden pang of regret. Well she thought, he will spend the whole day again. Well never mind. She went to shower. She heard Chris's voice inside the bathroom.

"Who wants to hitched a ride with me, I'm going that way."

So he never even bothered to say goodbye huh, Kris thought wryly. When she got out from the bathroom, the only one left was Trey.

She dressed in casual clothes and went out. She waved her goodbye to Sharon and Matt and went to start walking to a nearby mall.

"Mind if I walk with you?? I'm heading to the mall also," It was Trey.

She gaze at him and nodded. "Uh sure..." she replied. Trey was the bassist for CBEAT. He looked sure good but all of Chris's bandmates were anyway. People went to looked when they passed by.

"You really can live up to Chris's bullying weren't you??" Trey started the converstation.

"What does that mean??" Kris asked.

"Well. You seem to be his bully for the month or whatever. I hope you don't mind him though. Basically he's just lonely because his mother just died, last last month."

"Oh!" she paused. She didn't knew that one.

"He's just fucked up as always. He got a lot of issues going on inside him." Trey smiled.

They neared the mall.

"What was his mother's cause of death??" she asked.

"Heart attack."
