Get Through it Together

First Day Back

It has been a couple of days since the movie night and today Evie would finally be able to go back to school. But they had to switch around a few classes to make sure at least one of her friends would be with her in each class period. Evie wasn't sure whether to feel excited or nervous about today. Buts he knew her friends would help her all through out the day. 

There was only one class that Evie didn't have at least one of her friends with her before. So in chemistry they put Jay with her. Her last class of the day was sports. That was every bodies last period.So she was in PE. But currently they weren't letting her go to that class because she wasn't medically cleared quite yet. So during that period she would have study hall. It was pretty much only her. There might be Five or six more people, but she'd just sit far away from them.

All in all Evie just wanted Jay by her side the whole entire time. 

Currently Evie was brushing her indigo curls of hair into a neat v-braid.  In five minutes Evie had finished her hair and was ready to go to breakfast. So She just had to wait for Mal to walk with her. 

Mal was ready within the next five minutes and they left to go the atrium together. 

As soon as they made it to the atrium Evie and Mal got in line next to Jay, Carlos, and Ben. Technically they weren't supossed to that, but to their knowledge nobody really cared and almost everyone did that so it would be fine.

As soon as Jay saw Evie he gently pulled her close to him and pressed a kiss to her forehead. 

As the gang sat down Jay noticed that Evie had took barely any food. He knew that she wouldn't automaticly be eating like she should, but that little was just too little. I mean he happy that she was eating now, but he could wrap his mind around not eating that much.

So while she was looking away for a minute Jay snook some food from his plate to hers. Evie didn't seem to notice she just continued eating. Jay was thankful that Evie had finished all of her food. He knew she needed it greatly.

Today's day had been nice for Evie. Which was quite unusual for her. She for once didn't have a problem. She was so thankful to have friends like hers. 

She had more one more class period today. Which was the study hall. The one class that she had no friends with, but at least there was only 6 other people. The bad part part was that she heard they were junior highers. She heard this group was crazy. She would just sit in the corner and do her homework silently and hope for the best.

In this group there was 4 seventh grade girls, an eighth grade girl, and an eighth grade boy. 

There was 

Adli- seventh grade girl who was loud and talked a lot and did no homework is very very crazy

Malvika- also seventh grader who was quiet talked a little, but mostly did homework

Sophie- the kinda obnoxious girl who talked and got into a lot of arguments with Adli 

Gracelyn- the very quiet girl in the corner who only did homework and only talked when asked a question by the teacher

Amanda- eighth grader talked to the boy next to her and did her homework

Isaac- eighth grader who always talked to Adli to prove she is wrong (usually he is right)

Evie groaned quietly to herself they were A-NNOY-ING. Except for that one girl Gracelyn she sits in the corner with her knees up to her chest quietly studying for a test. She hasn't talked once the whole time. That was her favorite person here. She just seemed different than everyone else.

Soon the bell had rung and Evie was going to go to her locker put her books away and wait for Jay. To be honest it was a long day. Nothing bad happened, but it was tiring and she hadn't gone to school in what? Like a month maybe more. 

As soon as Evie put her books away she leaned against her locker and closed her eyes slightly. There wasn't many people in the way they were mainly still in the locker rooms. 

She heard someone walking towards her and she opened her eyes to see who it was. It was Jay. 

Evie smiled "hey jay" 

"Hey princess" jay said as he walked closer to Evie gave her a gentle hug and a kiss on her forehead. Jay looked at his girlfriend once more she looked very very tired " you tired princess" 

Evie nodded as she rested her head on Jay's shoulder. Jay took Evie's backpack from her small hands and grabbed one of her hands. "Come on we can go to your dorm and get some rest before dinner" Evie nodded her head in agreement.

As soon as they got to Evie's dorm Jay sat Evie on his lap. And let her head rest on his chest. She fell asleep within minutes. Jay usually would want Evie to fall asleep before dinner cause she might not sleep at night time and be tired in the morning, but she looked absultaly worn out o he just let her. 

About a half hour later Evie had been jolting in her sleep. It kept getting crazier though. "Evie?" Jay said shaking her. "Eves wake up" 

Evie's eyes opened up slightly, tears were coming down her  cheeks. Evie buried her head in Jay's chest and was crying harder. Jay rubbed Evie's back slowly and was trying to calm her down. 

 He wondered what on earth had happened that made her this sad. He really hoped that she was going to be okay and it wasn't to horrible. He hoped that she was so tired that she was being emotional. 

All he could do was hope.
