It was now July and Evie still hasn't woken up from her coma yet. Everybody was worried, especially Jay. The doctors said it wasn't getting any worse, but it wasn't getting better either. Which basically meant that if Evie didn't wake up soon she would have a higher risk of dying.

All Jay wanted was for Evie to wake up. He didn't care if she wasn't smiling, or isn't talking. He could fix that over time, but if Evie died he that could never fix be fixed. There would always be a permanent hole in his heart. He was visiting her everyday and was talking to her, but that was just was making his heart ache worse.

Jay was walking away from his room to go see Evie in her room. Her only movement of a chest slowly going up and down. The only thing he heard was the beating of the monitor counting her every breathe. The other day they took her off life support to see if she would be able to breathe in her own, which she was.

Jay sighed as he looked at watch. Has it already been that long already? He's been here for four hours. Jay sighed as he kissed the corner of Evie's lips. When he lifted his head he could of sworn he saw her flicker an eye. Jay looked at Evie again and took her hand in his. He saw her slowly open her eyes.

"Evie?"

Evie slowly looked at Jay with a dazed look in her eyes. "Evie, beautiful?"

"Jay?" Evie said in a raspy voice.

Sorry it's really really short. I've been super busy lately, but I will update a longer chapter very very soon.
