Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of trying to find a name for this story. So if you have any ideas please let me know! If I pick yours I'll make sure to give you credit.
The next day just as Jay promised, he was there right away. He in fact was there before she even woke up. Jay moved Evie's blue locks behind her ears as he waited for her to wake up. As Evie woke up she smirked. "Hey, princess" Jay said.
"Hey" Evie spoke quietly.
Jay smiled as he pressed a kiss on Evie's forehead.
"Jay?" The blue haired girl asked.
"Yes, Princess?"
"Are you going to stay with me?" She asked questionably
"Of course I am beautiful, why wouldn't I?"
Evie shrugged her boney shoulders and mumbled "everyone else does"
Jay's heart broke as Evie said that "Evie I will never leave you ever ever again" Jay finished grazing his thumb against her hand. Evie had tears slowly falling down her face. "Hey, hey don't cry beautiful" Jay said wiping her tears off of her small face.
Evie smiled slightly as she rested her eyes.

All of Evie's surgeries have finally been completed and she was released out of the hospital. In two weeks they would be started school again, but for now they would just stick to making sure Evie was getting better, because if they can't get her to talk to anybody or stop be scared of everybody she would not do very good in school. Which wasn't happening right now. Tonight was her first night back in her dorm. She was awoken by nightmares multiple times, and had gone to Mal every single time. She would have gone to Jay almost immediately, but he wasn't in her dorm, and her leg was in a cast and she couldn't exactly walk very well either. Neither Mal nor Evie had gotten much sleep at all last night.
When it reached 9 o'clock Jay came to the girls' dorm to make sure everything was okay. Well it wasn't very good. Evie was wide awake hiding in Mal's bed. While Mal was trying to calm Evie down to help her get some sleep. Needless to say they both needed more sleep. As Jay walked into the door he immediately went to Evie and Mal. Mal offered him a half smile. Jay sighed as he said "why don't you go to Ben I think he's waiting for you"
"Are you sure? She's barely slept all night" Mal said.
"And neither have you" Jay said as he sat next to them and stroked Evie's hair. When he did so he noticed Evie flinched. Jay sighed as he turned his head to Mal. "You should go and get some rest, Mal. I can take care of Evie and hopefully get her to sleep."
Mal sighed in surrender "fine, but call me if you need help" she said while getting up.
"I will" Jay replied as he occupied the spot his purple haired friend was in.
About a couple minutes after Mal left Jay decided to try to talk to Evie. "Hey, Eves, are you okay" he knew it was a stupid question. She obviously wasn't, but he didn't really know what to say.
The blue haired girl shrugged as she buried her head in Jay's chest as he carefully rubbed her back comfortably. "Wha..what if he comes back, Jay?"
"Don't worry Eves if I ever do much as see him again I'll kill him."
"But what if he does" Evie said shakily on the verge of tears.
Jay sighed as he kissed her head gently "don't worry, princess, I won't let him even touch you. I'll protect you until the day I die"
Evie cuddled closer to Jay as slow tears fell down her face.
