Chapter 9

I could see the sun shining through the window of my bedroom. Sitting up I turned my attention to the man next to me who was still holding my waist. Grinning thinking about what we did was engraved into my head; he was gentle the whole time. My alarm began to play trying to hurry up and turn it off before he woke but it was a lost cause, His eyes where open and he was grinning.

"Good morning"

"Morning" shy all of a sudden. I was about to stand when he grabbed me again and held on tightly.

"Don't move yet, I want to remember this moment."

Smiling I just laid there for a while when I heard a scratch on the door. Thinking back that I did leave the dogs out there,

"Where are you going?"

"I need to take the girls out"

"Oh okay, I will join you" getting up before I could say that he should just relax it wouldn't take that long. He was grabbing his clothes I just shrugged and grabbed my walking clothes. Opening the door to have both huskies zoom in and jump on the bed

"Sorry babies" waiting for him to get done in the bathroom then headed out to let the girls run around. Max held my hand while we walked I was just having the best time when his beeper sounded then I knew that he would need to leave cause the hospital was needing him. He left and I was alone again thinking that calling the hospital to tell them that I would like to come in a little earlier so that my mind was not thinking about what happened in Denmark. When the head doctor of the hospital said that I could after she heard what happened. Getting dressed for work when my phone went off, Waiting for the voicemail.

"Hey baby its Gloria what are you doing"

Grabbing the phone "hey mom what's up"

"Oh your home, well that is for the better is there any way you could come here for a minute"

"Sure do you need help?"

"Yep, I just need help moving something here in the house"

"Okay" hanging up the phone glancing at clock to see what time it was, I didn't have to be in until three and it was only eleven thirty. Grabbing my keys and heading out to get the day going, it only took twenty minutes to get to her house. Heading to the door I opened it with my spare key

"mom where are you" calling out her name, I could hear movement in the kitchen heading that way expecting to see Gloria but it was someone that I thought I would never see again.

"Tyler, what are you doing here" trying to keep the anger out of my voice.

"I came here to explain"

"I don't need an explanation" turning around to find Gregory standing there blocking the door,

"Long time Elle, I'm sorry just hear him out"

Why was I only seeing them and not Gloria, "what happened to my mother, where is she"

"She is outside with Emily talking"

"So you conned my mother to call me over here"

"Sorry" Tyler looked ashamed "we didn't con her we just talked to her"

Pinching the bridge of my nose "look I'm going to be late to work so listen I don't want to talk to either of you"

"Elle calm down" Gloria walked into the room" she was holding onto Emily while tears streamed down her face.

"Mom, how could you do this to me." trying to keep the tears from falling, why would she do this when this man cheated on her.

"Okay Elle, listen you cannot judge him what he did to me"
