Chapter 22

When we left the room everyone knew that I was going to be leaving for a meeting so if Max tried to ask anyone of them they would tell him the same thing. As we reached the back door I made sure the coast was clear before I nodded to her. "I will see you later honey and thanks for everything." with that I started to walk back toward the hidden path. As I reached the path I could hear voices behind me turning around to see that Max and Chloe were walking near the pond so I quickened my walk so that he would not see me leave. As I neared the gate I made sure that I was not followed before I left. Getting in the car that I bought so that I didn't have to use the cars that people always looked forward to see riding around. As I drove down the road a thought came to mind that I didn't see Mr. Stevens off, I hoped he was not upset with me I would go and check to see how he was doing, I knew that he was going to be here until later on tomorrow morning. Parking in front of the clinic I got out and headed in waited for my appointment. There were more couples in together then the last time. Taking a seat after informing them that I had arrived for my appointment, as I waited my thoughts kept running over the conversation earlier. What was I going to do now, they were going to find a way to stay longer and it would be best if they just left and let me be. I knew that it was wishful thinking. When the nurse came in and called my name I headed back for my appointment from the doctor Angela Faux that I had found to be a nice woman. She knew who I was and knew that I was not to be found out about who I was from anyone else.

"Okay Elle how are you feeling so far any problem"

"Nope she has been moving around a lot lately and I did have some nausea time to time but everything is going well"

"That is good to hear, so we are going to do an ultra sound to see if everything is okay in the inside." Angela said.

"Alright" leaning back slowly I stared straight up at the ceiling wondering what I was going to do with max, when I heard the faint sound of a heartbeat. Turning my attention to the monitor to see that she was smiling at me and it looked like she was waving at me. With that I knew that everything was going to be okay and that she was my life now and I would do anything for her. Angela cleaned the gel off my stomach and told me that I was in the green and that she was a healthy baby.

"Thank you, so when should I come in for my next appointment"

"I have an event that I have to be gone for next week but if you want we can go in three weeks so that I can make sure I'm cleared."

"Fine with me, see yah doc" with that I left the room, paid for my appointment and left the clinic holding the picture of her, Getting in the car to head back to the house before I'm found out, I decided to head to the hotel that Tim was staying at and Anora to see them off before they leave. Headed to the south side of Denmark I called Emily to tell her I was going to be little late and that I was going to be seeing Tim. She gave me the address and I was off.

Knocking on the door that had Tim staying at, he opened the door and gave me a huge hug.

"My darling what are you doing out here alone, did Chloe come with you"

"No I had an appointment and decided to come and see both you and Anora before you leave tomorrow."

"I'm happy you did" the older man led me in his room and let me sit on his bed. "So how did your appointment go?"

"It went well actually, she is doing well." handing him the ultra-picture. "I have decided to call her Ivy"

"Pretty name," grinning down at the ultra sound picture "I'm sure she will be a smart child just like her mother"

"I hope she doesn't get my stubbornness, we might have trouble" with that we both laughed. We sat down and talked further about his meeting and everything. I forgot I was supposed to talk to Anora so I rushed over to her room but she was not in so I thought I should head home since I didn't want to be late. Saying my goodbyes to Tim I drove to the mansion and waited for the text from Chloe stating that everyone was near so I could head back. When I reached the back door of the kitchen Chloe was there with a serious expression.
