Chapter 17

"I do your majesty," standing up straight to look directly at Tyler. "I came to ask your daughter for her hand in marriage."

"From what I saw I would guess she didn't agree" Tyler looked at me to confirm that was my choice. I nodded and glanced at Chloe for help, I needed to go and I rather not cry here in front of Tyler because that would set him off and he needed the assistance from Spain. When Chloe grabbed my arm to help me to the door where Gregory was standing also glaring Max, I knew that I was loved and protected was comforting. As I left Max was calling my name and I was just nearly running for an exit, as I came to the door Cecila came up

"What has happened, why is Max with your father?"

"Why don't you ask your son" Chloe nearly growled to the woman. We walked around her and headed to my room so that I could rest for the night since I was starting to fell little dizzy. Chloe checked my blood pressure to see if I was okay. She said that she would go do and tell everyone that I was going to bed for the night so that I could relax since I was stressed it was starting to affect the baby. Lying in the bed there was a knock on the door an hour later I could tell that it was Tyler since he did a special knock lately so that I would know who it was. He walked in and smiled.

"How are you feeling, Chloe said that you were feeling a little dizzy do you need to go to the clinic." worried about his daughter.

"No father I don't I was just feeling well about what happened downstairs"

"Yeah I would guess, that is why I came up here." taking a seat on the edge of the bed "I asked the Durango to stay a couple of nights since me and Jorge didn't get a chance to talk"

"What are you out of your mind" sitting up which brought up some nausea. Grabbing the bin next to the bed since I was not going to make it to the bathroom, I would clean it up when I could move around. Tyler was helping me by rubbing my back to soothe me.

"I'm sorry Elle I know I told you that they were going to be here just for the ball but I won't be able to do that"

"Alright but I will be in my room so I will have my food sent to me for the remainder of the time that they will be here"

"No problem" Tyler said

"I also want the entire worker to not tell anyone where I am if they see me out and about"

"I will have Gregory tell Peter to let them know"

"Fine, well with that I would like to be alone right now so I will have to see you another time"

"Okay sweetie, get some rest" with that he left me and my thoughts, what was I going to do know with them staying here for longer. Thinking about what Max said outside, why did he have to say that, I wanted to hear those words but then I think what would his mother tell me. More and likely she would tell me that it's okay to marry her son since I was a princess but I didn't want a marriage due to me being something. I wanted to marry him out of love. Looking at the dark ceiling thinking to myself when my cell phone started to buzz, looking at the number it was Tim answering the call to get my mind off of Max.

"Hello Mr. Stevens how are you doing."

"I'm doing well Elle thanks for asking." the older man on the other end has come a long way, I'm would have a report faxed to me so that I knew that he was going to his meeting since the counselor there was a friend so she helped me keep in touch.

"No problem so how are you doing?"

"Well I got a job working in the spice factory"

"That is wonderful to hear, what is it that you do"

"Package" was all he would tell me "So how are you and the baby doing"

"Were doing well thanks for asking, she is very active" Tim was the only other person beside Emily and Chloe that knew about the pregnancy and I was grateful since I was very depressed at the moment.

"You know if you ever come back here I would like to meet the little one" he sounded more than alone then I thought since I last I talked to him.

"You will the first person I will tell that I'm coming there okay"

"thanks darling" we talked more for about an hour about his meeting and what he has decided to do about getting a smaller apartment from where he currently was. When it was getting late I told him that I would need to get some sleep so we let each other go so that I could get some rest for the next day. I headed to bed and went straight to sleep not knowing what to do about tomorrow but I wouldn't be meeting Max or his family no more so I just thought of all I could do in the room. I might as well start bed rest just to have an excuse as to why I'm not coming down but then they would know I was pregnant.
