Chapter 19

"Mr. Stevens, how did you... I mean when did you..." speechless again. When the woman turned I just smiled even more it was Anora from the hospital. Seeing familiar faces was perfect, Tim was a good actor since he didn't tell me that he was in Denmark. Giving the man a hug he pulled out a box.

"This is for you." handing me the pink wrapped box "I hope you like it, it took me an hour just to figure out what to give you."

"Don't worry whatever it is I will cherish it forever." putting the box next to the rest of the present. Anora handing me a bigger box and a bag,

"I know that we barely talked since you moved up here but Chloe wouldn't let me go if I didn't come and celebrate with you."

"Thanks Anora, how do you like Denmark?"

"Besides the vast majority of hot man I would say it is the perfect spot to take a vacation"

"That is true" when we all sat down the door opened to show Tyler with Gregory, "what are you doing here" my heart nearly stopped. If they were here then where were Max and his family?

"Don't worry Elle they are at the house taking a nap before they leave tomorrow."

"Are you sure you was not followed." still not letting go of the panic in my gut. I was not going to let Max find out at all.

"Positive plus I have people looking out for them and that if they so much as leave the drive way to give me a call." Tyler said with a smile. "Now since we are here let's get this party started. Heading to the table of gifts to put down a couple of presents from some of the staff that knew about the pregnancy, When Emily and Chloe started to hand out games so that we could relax and enjoy our time alone. I totally forgot about max and his drama. After the game of 'Name This Baby' was won by Tyler, which still confused me he missed only Chloe since she looked a whole lot different than her pictures. They started to get the next thing going which was the food and gifts since they didn't want me moving around everyone basically got up and helped move the table forward. As everyone sat down Tyler's phone buzzed he glanced at the number and answered the phone I couldn't hear anything of the conversation but I didn't mind it since he was really busy now. Looking at Gregory who was sitting next to Emily and was getting his gift ready,

"If I never said it uncle, thank you for everything"

"No problem sweetie, plus you are special to everyone here and that makes me love you more"

With that he came over and hugged me and kissed my forehead. When he got back to his seat Tyler came back with a grim face reaction. Something was up

"What is wrong dad" sounding concerned.

"We may have a problem Elle" turning towards me.

"What do you mean a problem" looking around the room until I rested on Tim, who was standing up and walking over.

"What is the matter your majesty" Mr. Stevens said. The older man didn't play around when it involved me.

"it would seem that max tried to go and visit you in your room and found some of the baby items hidden in the back." was all he said the rest was a blur, Max found out and know what was going to happen to me. When I noticed that Tyler was still talking so I tried to keep up,

"So what is he doing?"

"Right now he is trying to find you and get some answer and yes his family does know what is going on"

I wanted to die or sink into a black hole. My worst nightmare is coming true and I didn't know what I was going to do about it. Thinking maybe I could leave the country but then I would be doing the same thing my mother did to Tyler so I pushed that thought aside. All I could think about how I was to get out of it. Clearing the lump from my throat,

"Well it looks like the cats is out of the bag so might as well finish my party." with that I just sat there waiting for someone to move and hand me a bag of gifts. The party was still in full swing when Tyler's phone went off again.

"Let's not answer any phones until the party is over. The next person to even pick up their phones will not be holding the baby. Do I make myself clear?" Putting up an evil glare,

An echo of yes went through the room. Opening the gifts one after another I realized that these people were really my family. They gave me everything that I would need including a coupon for diapers. I laughed at it since I was talking to Chloe about diapers and how I was going to be getting them without people finding out. It came with a special address that I could go and pick them up. Tim gave me a rattler and a beautiful dress that was made from his late wife. It was a perfect ending to a Simi perfect day. From baby clothes to a walkie talkie that I could be hear from clear across the mansion. Anora wanted me to be able to see and hear the baby when I was not in the room. Chloe gave me a booklet about free baby sitting and also a dress. Emily and Gregory gave me baby crib; even though I already bought one but I was not going to tell them that. Last Tyler handed me an envelope I grinned at him and opened it, inside was the deed to Gloria's house in Iowa and another deed to a house here in Denmark. I looked at him.

"For if you decide to move back to Des Moines or stay here so that I can be closer if you need me for anything."

"Are you serious I have a house here?"

"Yes I was working on this since you moved up here; I didn't know if you would like to stay with me forever so I looked around and found it."

Getting up I walked over to him and gave him a hug "thank you, for everything dad" the tears running down my face had everyone standing up to comfort me.

"Thank you everyone for coming here and celebrating with me" With that everybody came and gave me a hug. When the night pressed on I totally forgot about Max knowing and I didn't know what I was going to do. I could go back to Des Moines but he would just follow me there and I rather have back up here to help me. As we headed back home Chloe and Emily were talking in the back seat.

"What are you two mumbling about?"

"About what to do first when we reach home" Emily stated with a worried expression.

"Nothing is going to happen all I am going to do is walk through the door and head straight to my room and not talk to anybody."

"That is your plan" Chloe said

"That is all I came up with, if you two could hold him off until I reach my room to lock the door it would be helpful"

"We can do that but if his mother gets involved then what do you want me to do." Chloe said she was more worried about his mother then him. Who could blame her I mean the woman is a two face snake.

"Just hold them off and I will wait for you Chloe to come so I can let you in okay"

"Alright I will be quick about following you without them, do you want to come up with a code word so that you know it's safe."

'That sounds good" Emily said with excitement "it's like we are spies or something" clapping her hands together.

"Sure, um...." thinking about a code that I would know, "how about Diesel"

"Diesel" they both said

"Like your hubby Van Diesel"

"That is great, if I say rainy day then you know that someone is there"

:"okay, we are starting to get things together," looking about the window still thinking about what was about to go down. I was thankful for Tyler and Gregory for taking the gifts back with them. After this was over I would go and visit Tim later before he returns to Iowa, I really did miss him and I was happy that I got the dress that his wife made before she died. It brought tears to my eyes thinking that she was making something for my baby. Whipping the tears from my face I watched as the mansion came into view.
