Chapter 11

Waking up in one of the hospital rooms, Nobody was in the room with me; getting up to see what was going on. The last thing I remember was Max telling me that Gloria was dead. Trying to remember what happened and what Chloe told me earlier. Tim was the one who killed Gloria. Before I realized what was happening I was walking out the room and heading to the receptionist desk to see what room Tim was in. Finding out that he was on the third floor for recovery, Heading to the elevator getting in before noticed that I was gone. I didn't know what I was going to do but I was going to get revenge for her death. She was like by all and he was the one who took her away from her friends and from me. Standing in front of his room I slowly opened the room; he was laying there watching TV. He glanced my way

"Elle, oh dear I'm so sorry" he was sitting up further to talk to me better.

"No I'm not going to forgive you for this" really meaning it. All I was feeling for this man was disgust and rage.

"I'm sorry I was running away from Mr. Pepis when I hit your mother's car"

"even if you were running from him, You still took something from me and I now I want to figure what I want to take from you"

"what" with a confused expression "what do you mean."

"I mean that you killed my mother" getting closer to the bed. When I grabbed the chair and sat down. I waited for his response;

"That is not funny, I know you are mad at me right now but that is not funny" looking close to hysteria.

"Does it look like I'm laughing Mr. Stevens"

He was silent just watching me; waiting on something to happen. When it finally registers he started to cry. "I'm so sorry Elle, I didn't know.....I'm so sorry"

"you can apologize but I still will never forgive you" getting sick from sitting there with him. "You know that I have always thought of you as family, even when you started to gamble and drink your life away. I loved your wife and helped you with as much as I could but you ended up with blood on your hands."

with that he just shook like a little kid in the corner. I knew that I was not going to hurt him I still loved him but I will never forgive him....ever.

As I returned to the room Tyler was standing there waiting on me, "are you okay dear."

"no I'm not okay," grabbing my bag from the chair and headed out. I still needed to start calling people about what happened to Gloria. I could hear Tyler behind me silent which was a good thing since I didn't want to talk to anybody.

Wanting time to myself I just turned around and told Tyler that I will be back in a little bit. With that I started to walk to the front so that I could get into my car. I knew that Tyler was still behind me following me.

"I will be back I promise, just leave me alone." with that I just bolted to the front. Grabbing my keys from my purse and ran like I was in a marathon. When I reached the car I was happy that I forgot to lock the car. I jumped in and locked the doors so that Tyler wouldn't be able to get in. Starting the car I headed to the spill way near the courthouse to think, watching the water flow always calmed me down when I was about to lose it. I need to think what I was going to do and how I was going to move on without Gloria. Parking the car I headed to the bridge that was right above the fall and just stood there crying. She was gone I wouldn't see her anymore; looking at the sky I just stood there praying that it was all a dream. A couple of minutes later my cellphone was ringing didn't care who it was so I just let it go to voicemail. I heard the beep of a voicemail; glancing at the number to tell that it was Tyler calling. Dialing one for voicemail

"Hey Elle I know that you want to be left alone but you need to sign some papers for her. They tell me that I am unable to cosign it since I am not family. So when you get this message please call or text me stating what you want to do." with that he hung up the phone. Taking a couple of more minutes to get my head on my shoulders, I just decided to head back to the hospital to get things going.
