Chapter 18

Then next morning was just drama when Chloe first came into the room with a tray of food, she had a look of just hatred.

"What happened to you?"

Sitting down the tray so that I could start to eat as she told me her story "well as I came into the kitchen guess who was just sitting there?"

"Max"

"Correct, anyways he looks up at me and just smiled"

"So" taking a bite of an apple.

"He comes over to me with that sexy walk that he does and leans down to me and asks me 'where is she' was all he said."

"So he is looking for me is that right"

"Yeah and girl he has asked every person working here if they have seen you or have an idea as to where you are"

"Well as long as I stay in my room I should be fine"

"True, so have you figured out what you are going to do while waiting for them to leave."

"I'm going to finish getting things ready for the baby if you would mind staying and keeping me company."

"Sure honey that is why I'm here"

"Good," sliding the tray away from me and getting up. I needed to go the bathroom while I was in the room there was a knock on the door that made my heart stop. Thinking it was Max I just held my breath and waited for voices. The familiar voice made me relax coming out of the room Emily was holding her son while holding a folder.

"Good morning Elle I have some papers about the clinic" handing me the folder. "They were more than happy to help out with keeping their mouths quite about you."

"Thanks Emily" glancing at the pile of papers on the bed. I asked her to see if there was a way to keep my pregnancy quiet and when I was to go into labor I didn't want anyone to know that I was giving birth. I wanted a peaceful labor. When that baby kicked my rib all I could do was giggle. Both Emily and Chloe rushed over to fill my stomach, at lot of pregnant women hated when people touched there stomach but I didn't really mind, thinking how Max's face would lighten up with the thought of his baby moving around in my stomach. Pushing the thought out of my mind I just thought of the task at hand I was getting everything ready for the baby I thought about putting the crib up that I had bought but I should wait until they left so that I didn't have to worry about them coming into the room. Chloe came over to me and smiled.

"So Elle I know that you were planning on staying here for the remainder of the time they were going to be here but we need to go somewhere"

"Where?" glancing at her confused.

"I just signed us up for a message and I can't get my money back so I need to bring you with me."

"I can't have a message honey, thanks for the thought but I need to make sure I have at least everything I needed here."

"I know but I was thinking of going shopping and I wanted to spend the remainder of my vacation with you. So Emily decided that she would join us so that if anything happens she can call Tyler."

"Alright since you don't want to be stuck here with me in my room the whole time." as both Emily and Chloe was grinning something made me think something was up. Pushing the thought aside what could be really going on with them it really didn't matter. When they told me to get ready to I just grabbed my jacket and purse and headed out. I made sure that I was covered up so that nobody could tell it was me. I walked in the middle so that I could make sure I was covered from all angles. As we passed Tyler's office the door opened showing Jorge stepping out with a smiling Tyler they looked up to see us walking by.

"Heading out I see" Tyler said. Coming to hug me

"Yes we are going shopping and then eat something." Emily said.

"Alright have fun but be careful." Tyler said. As we were walking past Jorge grabbed my shoulder.

"How are you doing, I heard you were filling a little under the weather." if it wasn't for the sincere expression I would have pushed him off. Smiling my most sincere smile and told him I was fine and that I was just getting a small fever. He nodded and gave me a small hug I was shocked that he even did that before it registered that he was too close to me. Quickly stepping away I just glanced at Tyler and Emily.

"thanks but we better head out" turning around walking to the door so that I could get some air, what was I going to do with them around, if this kept going I was going to be found out. Sliding in the back so that I could relax more, Emily and Chloe quickly jumped in and then we were headed out. Nobody said anything for a while since I was still getting my emotion together. We parked in front of a small diner.

"So what was the real reason you pulled me out here" watching both of them,

"You'll see" guided me inside to a view that I wouldn't forget. There were balloons everywhere and streams from one area to the next. I was speechless because they planned a baby shower, turning around to smile at them. I couldn't say anything so I just hugged them both and cried.

"You are both wonderful" turning back I just was in awe. A waiter came out holding a platter of food, "so when did you plan all this."

"It's been a while and just to let you know that this is not all of us, we have invited more people to join us. They couldn't come right now due to some sightseeing so they informed me that they were going to be a little late." Emily said while taking a bite of cheese.

"When you see your guest don't cry too much okay."

"Promise" excited that I was going to have a normal baby shower. It was starting to get later and later so I was getting annoyed at the fact the people were going to be late to my party. Glaring at Chloe who was just sitting there with a smile on her face, taking a glance at Emily she also had the same expression on her face.

"What are you hiding from me" I stated.

"Oh you still haven't noticed it yet" Chloe said grinning.

"What" looking around and found nothing "what is it"

"Keep looking around maybe you will see it" Emily said.

Scanning the room slowly I noticed something was off how come I didn't notice people sitting in the diner. Getting up I walked over and they both had their backs to me so I couldn't tell who it was but I could tell that one was female and the other an older man. Tapping the man on the shoulder he turned and my heart nearly stopped.
