A Throne and a Baby

Chapter 13

"Really" Tyler said out of shocked. "Do you really want to leave?"

"Yes, there is nothing here anymore and I rather forget this place." trying to keep my emotion in check but they were not listening to me. I started to cry by the car. Emily grabbed my arm and headed into the house and made a cup of tea. When I looked up I was stuck looking at the picture of me and Gloria when I graduated from college. Then the next one was when I was little riding the bike that I got from my neighbor for my birthday. Putting my head into my hands and cried until I was limp in Tyler's arms.

"Okay we can leave as soon as I get in contact with the hospital about you working there."

"Thank you dad" with that I just laid there in his arms not having the strength to move anymore. When Gregory came in from the trip to the store he noticed me in Tyler's arms. He glanced at Tyler to see if he could do anything.

"Can you get ahold of the hospital and talk to the manager and inform them that she has decided to move away and see what all she needs to do to get that going"

"Alright" then he was gone. I wanted to sink into myself but I knew that I was not alone in this so I needed to get stronger for the both of us but I didn't know where to start. Sitting up I glanced at Tyler who was smiling and rubbing my shoulder in comfort. "Are you okay"

"Yes dad, don't worry" with that I got up to go to the bathroom to fix my face. As I left the bathroom a knock on the door got everybody attention. A man opened the door to show Max standing there.

"What are you doing here" trying to move around the guard at the door.

"I need to talk to you"

"No you need to get away from here, your mother is waiting for you" trying to close the door but he stopped it.

"I know you are angry at me but please understand why I did it"

"I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT NO MORE" nearly screaming at the man "I DON'T WANT TO EVER SEE YOU ANYMORE, DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME ANYMORE JUST LIVE YOUR LIFE" slamming the door in his face I just turned and walked away. With that I just waited until I heard his car drive off so that I didn't have to look at him leaving out of our life. Holding my stomach in comfort I promised that I wouldn't allow anybody to hurt either of us. I went to go find Emily who I knew was expecting so I just needed to talk to someone who knew what to do. I found her in the kitchen

"Um Emily can I talk to you for a moment"

"Sure sweetie, what do you need?"

"So I need to tell you something but I don't want Tyler to know"

"You're pregnant"

"What, wait.....? How did" I looked at her. "How did you know?"

"Well I have a gift, plus when you start off with you wanted to keep a secret from Tyler I knew that either you are pregnant or just wanted to borrow a lot of money."

"ha-ha very funny but I do need your help" taking a deep breath "I just found out but I do need to go to the clinic to make sure that the test was correct and then I need to figure out what I'm going to do in the meantime."

"Alright but what do you need my help with"

"Well since I have no one to trust I was wondering if you would mind coming to the clinic with me and be there to hold my hand"

with that Emily looked like she wanted to cry, she grabbed my hand and nodded her head "don't worry honey I will be there for the both of you, I know that's what Gloria would want" with that she headed to the Livingroom to tell the others that she needed to go out and that she was going to take me with her. Everybody was saying that it was okay but Gregory wanted to know where we were going and she told them that she was going to the apartment with me to get some small things that I had forgot. With that we headed out to the AGRAPE clinic that was for pregnant women, they would help with finding out what you needed like an agency for adoption or a program that would help with the bills. Parked the car and waited fifteen minutes to find out if I was pregnant. When the woman came back into the room holding a piece of paper, she looked at me and smiled.
