The Bet

Chapter Eleven

"LANI WAKE UP! WAKE UP WE NEED TO MEET UP WITH THE BOYS SOON!" Summer shouts in my ear I groan in annoyance covering my face with a pillow.

"I'm still pissed at you bitch" I hiss, I move the pillow away to get a clear look at her and her only response is an eye roll. "What finally caught your tongue?"

"No I didn't bitch, your just so sensitive I didn't mean the stuff I said okay? I just don't want you to get to deep into this bet okay it's suppose to be fun I understand that you may grow feelings for Devin but for now that just cannot happen"

"I.. okay" I sigh

"I really am sorry Devin seems like a good guy"

"It's cool.. I'll get ready" I say rubbing my eyes tiredly

"Okay I already put your outfit out.. and I'm going to curl your hair" She announces, I look at her in confusion since my hair is naturally curly..

"What?" I furrow my eyebrows

"I'm going to curl your hair like I said.. not like your curly" 

"Whatever" I chuckle, I hurry into the bathroom doing the usual routine then putting on the outfit she chose a white jeans with a white tee and white and grey Jordan's I never where all white I think it's stupid.

"Lani looking hella good" Summer says giggling as I walk out of the bathroom

"Hurry up and do my hair" I say with sass

After Summer finally gets ready we head out to meet the boys for lunch we decided to meet at Chick Fil A since it's the best and guess who's driving? me.

"You're going to have Devin falling at his knees when he sees you" 

"Mhmm" I roll my eyes

"And Kevin"

"Who next Daniel?" I scoff, I glance at her and her jaw tightens 

"Whatever" She mumbles, okay.. I pissed her off.

We finally make it to Chick Fil A and Summer takes no time to get out of the car slamming the door behind her, I quickly get out of the car and quickly catch up with her.

"Are you pissed?" 

"Yes but I'll get over it"

"Did I say something wrong?" 

"No.. I'm just pissed at something drop the conversation" She huffs, we walk in and find the boys sitting at a booth laughing loudly at something and the first person to see us is Kevin..  

"Oh hey babe" Devin smiles as I sit beside him, Summer sits beside Daniel on the opposite side of us and Kevin pulls a chair up to the table.

"Hi Devin" I smile 

"You look good in all white ma" Kevin says

"Thanks.."

"Babe I like your hair and all but why not just keep your hair natural?" Devin asks playing with one of my loose curls.

"Okay well I'm getting our food.." Summer announces

"I'll come with you" Daniel says with a smile she shrugs and they both walk away to the counter

"I uh.. need to use the bathroom" I say quickly and basically running to the bathroom I stay in there for a good minute before walking back to the table to see tension between Kevin and Devin.. great hint my sarcasm.

"Everything okay..?" I say as I sit back down

"Yeah we're cool" Devin mumbles sending a glare to Kevin okay then..

"I think I know what's going on" Summer smirks

"There's just some tension.. Kevin likes this girl and.. I don't.." Daniel says

"Why don't you just say who it is since your just going to put my fucking business out there" Kevin snaps.

"She wanted to know what was up don't be mad at me cause the girl doesn't like you back" Daniels snaps back.

"Well if a dumb ass wouldn't have stolen her so quick I would have a damn chance"

"Kevin you don't have no chance just back the fuck off" Devin speaks up 

"Shut the fuck up Devin like you actually know some shit" 

"Okay.. all of you need to calm down.." I say awkwardly

"No I like this is going" Summer says

"Shut up Summer your not helping" 

"He's just a jealous wuss babe" Devin says, Kevin curses under his breath and walks out leaving the four of us..

"Awe it was just getting good" Summer says with a pout
