My phone goes off and I quickly answer it so it won't wake Mariah, I look down to see who it is and its Devin. I roll my eyes and answer it.
K- what Devin
D- lani.... Can we talk?
K- no dev I have nothing to say to you
D-lani baby please
I sliently curse to myself knowing how much I love it when he calls me lani baby😒
K- ugh fine dev meet me downstairs, I wanna go to Dunkin donuts
D- ok baby
I get up and go to the bathroom to do my morning routine, after I'm done I pick out
A white tank top with a gray knitted cardigan and high waisted shorts with rips at the knees and white low top converse. I walk out the room and go down to meet Devin.
I see Devin standing by the door waiting for me and I start to feel nervous on what's going to happen
" hey Dev" I say while looking down
" hey lani, you ready?" He asks
" yeah let's go" I say while walking pass him
We start to walk to Dunkin donuts and it's there's a awkward silence, I finally decide to break it
" sooo what do you want to talk about" I say
" about us... Lani I'm really sorry that I hit you! I didn't mean too... It just made me mad when Kevin kissed you, cause I really like you lani and I don't want anyone else but you" he says while staring into my eyes
" Devin.. I like you too but if this is what your going to act like then we can't be together.. I just want you to trust me ok? And Kevin is your best friend! I don't want you guys to be arguing over me so I want you to apologize to him ok?" I say
" ok... So are we good again?" He says hopefully
" yeah we're good but your buying me coffee to make up for my lip" I say laughing
" *laughs* ok let's go" he said grabbing my hand"
