Chapter Thirty Five

"So when are we going to tell the others we're leaving?" Summer asks

"Oh I'm not saying shit but anyways I need to go talk to Devin" I say simply with a shrug

"Um.. for what?" She asks furrowing her eyebrows with confusion

"Just to talk" I smile, I walk out of our hotel room and walk down the hall to his knocking on his door.

"Hey! uh I mean.. hi Lani" He smiles brightly 

"Are you just going to stand there.. or are you going to let me in?"

"Right.." He says awkwardly moving out of the way for me to walk in "So what did you want to talk about?"

"Us"

"Uh.. what about us?" 

"I don't want to talk to you again"

"Wait why?" 

"Hmm I don't because you got your little bitch to kiss my boyfriend to sabotage my relationship hoping for me to be a weak bitch and run back to you?!" I say angrily

"Lani it was never like that I just wanted you back and-"

"So you fucking ruin my relationship because YOU were jealous?! How stupid do you sound Devin

"Pretty stupid" He mumbles "Lani please just give me a chance I-"

"That's all I've been doing! But then there's always bullshit and I'm sick of it Devin I'm done"

"Like all of this is just my fault" He scoffs

"It's not! And I never said it was I know I fucked up and I apologized for it I felt like a damn idiot for weeks!"

"What was I suppose to do?! Just watch you prance around with that dumb ass?"

"You- Ugh! Fuck you Devin lose my damn number" 

I storm out of his hotel room slamming the door behind me when Brandon comes my way making me roll my eyes in annoyance.

"Before you say a damn word I know you didn't do it"

"So.. you forgive me right?" He smiles

"I do but that doesn't mean I'll get back with you" I say and his face saddens "Look Brandon I like you but I honestly don't need a boyfriend right now it's to much work"

"Friends?" 

"Friends" I smile hugging him tightly "But anyways I'm going back to New York so I'll see you when you get back?"

"Yeah I'll see you in like a week Lani" He smiles, I wave goodbye heading back to the hotel room where Summer is finished packing.

"Ready?"

"Yes let's get out of here before like Emiliana sees us or something I don't want them to try get us to stay"

"How did the conversation with Devin go?"

"Cursed him out" 

"Damn Lani your turning into a bitch" Summer jokes

"Shut up Summer"

We get our things and head down to the lobby checking out of the hotel and heading back onto the road back to New York.

Summer offered to drive first and I'm so glad because I could really go for a nap, I put in my headphones turning on music and Summer smiles at me.

"Are you sure your cool? Do you want to talk about it?"

"I'm cool for now maybe later I'm just tired right now" I explain

"Go to sleep before you know it I'm going to be forcing you to drive"

"Your just full of jokes today aren't you?"

"You won't do anything about it"

"I'll cut you"

"Try me bitch"

I roll my eyes resting my head against the window getting comfortable enough to fall asleep within a couple of minutes I fall asleep easily.
