Kalani's POV
Emiliana and I walk downstairs where everyone is sitting waiting, as we walk over I start to get nervous on what they're going to say to me. As we get closer everyone looks over at me and my stomach drops.
" hey guys! You ready?" Emiliana said
I continue to look at the floor until someone calls my name.
" Lani!" A boy with green eyes and very curly hair calls out to me.
I stare at this boy for while until i realize it's my best friend from elementary school Brandon!
"Brandon! Omg what are you doing here?!" I say running towards him
(Brandon up top)
" I'm down here visiting family! I moved back to New York and your mom said you went on a trip! Ugh it's so good to see you lani" he says hugging me very tight
I look back and everyone looks at me with wide eyes and Devin glares at Brandon with his jaw clenched. I walk Brandon over to everyone to introduce him.
" everyone this Brandon, Brandon this is Kevin, Daniel, Devin, Lexi, Mariah, Shari, Emiliana, and summer which who you know already"I say
" hey guys I'm going to go catch up with Brandon if you don't mind, see you later ok?" I say grabbing Brandon's hand
" yeah go catch up" summer says smiling at me
I walk away with Brandon and I feel someone staring at me, I turn around and it's Devin.
