Chapter Twenty

I decided to just chill with Emiliana today and we agreed to meet at the pool since it was quite hotter then usual today.

I pick out a black bikini throwing a pair of shorts and a tee shirt over, I slip on my flip flops and head out of the room to the elevator. The doors finally open and I step in heading to the lobby and going to where the indoor pool is. 

"Hey Lani" Emiliana says with a smile as I sit down beside her 

"Thanks for meeting up with me I really needed to get out of my hotel room" I say

"It's cool.. by the way what happened?" She asks furrowing her eyebrows, my lip is just is still a tiny bit swollen but not as bad as yesterday.

"Oh.. um.. basically I got hit in the face with a door.." I lie and she continues to stare

"Long story?"

"Yes"

"Then I don't have time for that shit" She laughs and I do as well, we finally decide to get into the pool  and I dive straight in while Emiliana takes her time.

When I reach the surface poking my head out of the water I gasp for air and watch as she struggles.

"You know if you just dive in you'll get used to the water quicker right?" I ask pushing my hair back of my face.

"Bitch does it look like I know how to swim" She snaps and I laugh putting my hands up in defense, I decide to swim to the edge and grab her leg making her fall into the water and she screams.

"CHILL!" I laugh loudly helping her reach the surface and she splashes me

"UGH!" She huffs 

"Sorry" I giggle "You were taking to long" I say and she rolls her eyes giving me the middle finger

"Oh hi Daniel" She smiles brightly I quickly turn around to see only him coming over to us and I sigh in relief.

"Hey" He smiles, he lays his towel down on my chair cannon balling into the pool splashing us

"DANIEL!" We scream in sync 

"What?" He says innocently pushing his hair back I roll my eyes and look over to see that Emiliana is blushing.

"How's Kev?" I ask 

"He's cool" Daniel shrugs, Emiliana looks at us in confusion but brushes it off 

"I'm actually going to go get something to drink I'll be back" I smirk at Emiliana and getting out of the pool. I wrap a towel around me and head out into the hallway to the vending machine, I put a dollar in pushing the Pepsi button and grabbing it when it comes out.

I feel someone tap my shoulder making me turn around to see Summer.

"What do you want?" I snap 

"I.. I.. I just want to say I'm sorry for everything" She says quietly 

"I don't believe you"

"Lani I'm serious I know what I did was horrible go ahead call me a bitch or a hoe or whatever but I know what I've done is wrong is I'm so sorry and I want you to know that" She says as tears start to flood her eyes. "I'm such a fucking bitch I'm so sorry Lani"

"I forgive you" I sigh "I forgive you but I don't trust you"

"Can we start fresh? I need my best friend Lani" 

"It'll take some time.. but okay" 

"Thank you" She smiles, I shrug and start to walk away when she stops me "Kalani?"

"What's up?" I ask turning to face her

"You're new friend seems cool" 

"She is" I smile, I head back to the pool and when it comes into clear vision I see Emiliana and Daniel sitting at the edge of the pool kissing. I smirk to myself and quietly make my way over to them and lean down closer to their ears.

"GOALS!" I shout startling Emiliana making her scream and fall into the pool and leaving Daniel speechless.

"I.. it's.. uh.. it's not what it looks like" He stutters

"What it looks like is that you and Emiliana were making out" I wink 

"NO WE WEREN'T!" Emiliana shouts as she finally gets out of the pool

"You two are cute but you can't fool me" I laugh laying down on the beach chair and stare at them amused.

"Shut up Lani"

"Goalsss" I sing and they roll their eyes I open my can of Pepsi and from the corner of my eye I see Daniel wink at Emiliana flirtatiously making her blush very hard. 

They're definitely getting together.
