Chapter Nineteen

"WAKE UP!!!" The boys shout bursting into Mariah and I's room making me groan loudly in annoyance.

"THE FUCK ARE Y'ALL DOING?" I shout pulling the duvet over my head and I feel someone jump onto my bed.

"They woke me up to you aren't the only one" Danny says getting under the duvet and falling quickly asleep.

"Oh hell nah" Devin says pulling the duvet off of us 

"DEVIN!" I whine 

"Come on get up!" Kevin smiles brightly 

"Can we get food?" I say in hope 

"We can get room service" Devin shrugs picking up the phone to order food, in about ten minutes our food arrives and we all eat while watching TV except Danny who's still asleep in my bed Mariah also went back to sleep leaving just Kevin, Devin and I.

"You have another show tonight right?" 

"Yeah why?" Kevin asks

"Just asking.." I shrug "Oh fuck my charger" I groan 

"What?"

"I forgot my charger in Summer's room and I really don't want to see the bitch's face" 

"I'll get it for you ma" Kevin winks and walks out of the room 

"Why the fuck did he wink at you?" Devin says out of jealously 

"Seriously Devin? He's a flirt what do you expect?" 

"I just really like you babe and I don't need anyone getting in our way.."

"Dev I like you too but you really need to stop being a jackass" I say giggling 

"So.."

"So?"

"Do you-" He gets cut off from the door opening from Kevin walking in 

"Lani I really need to talk to you real quick" Kevin says, I sigh and nod following him out to the hallway and closing the door behind me.

"What's up Kev? Did you get my charger?"

"You can't date Devin" He blurts out and I stare at him confused

"What? why not?"

"Because ma.. I like you.. and I haven't hurt you like him"  

"Kev I.." 

"Come on you know you felt something between us too I make you happy Devin has been doing to much dumb shit to you"

"I know Kevin but-" Before I could finish my sentence he kisses me catching me in shock but I do kiss back.. shit. The door flies open and I feel someone pull me away from Kevin and slams Kevin against the wall. Devin.

"WHAT THE FUCK KEVIN" He shouts punching Kevin in the jaw then again in the face

"DEVIN!" I shout, I try to grab Devin's arm but I soon realize it's a mistake when Devin hits me, he hit me.

"The fuck Devin! Look what the fuck you did!" Daniel shouts pulling me into his arms, when did he even wake up?

"Lani.. I.. I didn't mean to I.." Devin stutters, I can't even get words to come out from how much I'm crying he hit me hella hard.

"Devin don't even try it go to your damn room or something" Daniel snaps guiding Kevin and I back into the room and closing the door on his face. 

"What happened?!" Mariah gasps 

"Devin that's what happened" Daniel says sitting me down at the foot of Mariah's bed I open my eyes to see I got blood on his shirt and I eyes widen is disbelief. "No baby it's okay your lip is just busted your fine" He says in a soothing tone.

While he helps Kevin Shari came down to the room to comfort me and so does Mariah, I'm honestly still in shocked that Devin hit me.

"Lexi is cursing Devin out now if you're wondering" Shari smiles placing a bag of ice on my now swollen lip.

"Yeah that definitely helps" I roll my eyes and her face softens "Sorry I'm just pissed"

"This is a mess I should beat Devin's ass" Daniel says angrily

"Chill Daniel" Mariah says 

"No! He fucking hit a girl!" 

"First of all Daniel watch your language and secondly don't talk to your sister like that" Shari snaps

"Sorry Mariah.." He says quietly 

"How are you feeling Kev?" I ask quietly, he has a bruise forming on his right cheek and on his jaw line where Devin hit him at first.

"I'm fine.. you?"

"My damn lip hurts" I giggle and he smiles 

"I think I'm going to tell mom that we need to reschedule the concert you can't go onto stage looking like that Kev" Shari says

"But-"

"Sorry Kev" She sighs and he looks down at the floor sadly 

"I'm taking a nap" I say quietly crawling into my bed

"We'll be back later" Daniel says kissing my forehead and I smile 

"I'm not going anywhere I'm taking my ass to sleep on this couch" Kevin says making us all laugh as Shari and Daniel leave.

"You okay babes?" Mariah smiles and I nod as she turns off the light before I fall asleep I turn off my phone just in case someone tries to call me, I place my phone down and close my eyes falling asleep very quick.
