The Bet

Chapter Seven

"WAKE UP! KALANI! WAKE UP!" Summer screams jumping on my bed

"SUMMER ESPINOSA!" I shout pushing her on the floor

"We bout to get kicked out of the hotel if we don't stop yelling" She laughs brushing her clothesa off

"Fix your grammar" I say rubbing my eyes tiredly and picking up my phone to see it's only nine in the morning.

"Surprise" She smiles awkwardly knowing I hate being up so early

"I should kill you"

"Try it hoe" She scoffs, I shake my head and chuckle lightly "Now come on! Get up"

"I am not getting out of bed-"

"Food" She says cutting me off, I quickly jump out of bed pushing her down onto hers and running into the bathroom. "HUNGRY BITCH"

"YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!" I respond slamming the door.

I walk out of the bathroom wearing black jean shorts and a plain white tee shirt to find Summer already dressed and ready.

"How..?" I say in confusion

"I knew you would try something so I already took a shower I just put pajamas back on" She explains putting her hair into a high ponytail, I roll my eyes walking back into the bathroom to finish getting ready.

"So where are we eating?" I ask tying up my black and white J's.

"McDonald's?" She suggests making glance at her "Fine Wendy's?"

"YAY!"

"By the way when we get back I'm straightening your hair"

"FOR WHAT?!" I shout as we walk out of our hotel room

Later that day Summer keeps her promise on straightening my hair I have to say I look damn good but I'm not the type to straighten my hair that much I like my curly hair.

"Don't worry you look good"

"Is any of this worth it? For a stupid bet I could literally hurt my idols over a bet" I say as I look at myself in the mirror.

"Are you serious? Get it through your head Lani they won't actually notice you, you're just a fan this is all for some fun"

"You don't know them like me"

"Look we can talk about this later we need to get ready"

"Fine"

We make it to wear the boys are preforming at we head straight to the meet up and stand in line.

"Are you sure I look okay?" I say nervously

"If you looked a mess when we first met them and Devin was staring at you then nothing can get in your way"

"I asked if I looked okay not a snarky remark" I say with an attitude

"Yes you look good" She rolls her eyes, it finally comes to be our turn and Devin eyes light up with excitement when he sees me.

"Aye it's the girls from the other day" Kevin says greeting Summer with a hug then me

"Their names are Summer and Kalani, Kevin" Daniel says hugging us next and last Devin

"Wow Kalani you look amazing" Devin says with a smile, I bite my lip to hide my blushing which doesn't work.

"Kalani blushing hard" Kevin laughs

"We can't keep the other digaz waiting" Daniel says and the boys nod in agreement

"Why don't I text you later and we all can hangout while we're in Atlanta?" Devin suggests I gasp a little and nod my head, Summer and I hug the boys and take pictures really quickly.

"We'll see y'all after the concert" Kevin says, Summer and I nod Devin sends a little wink just as we walk away and my cheeks heat up again.

"YOUR IN OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO EASY!" Summer says excitedly

"Don't get your hopes up" I sigh

"Listen Johnson stop thinking so negative"

"I'm not!" I argue, she rolls her eyes sticking her middle finger up at me and walking away faster making me need to catch up.

"I hate you sometimes"

"Same"
