Kalani's POV
I walk back to our table and sit down next to Devin, I see Kevin walk back in smirking at me and sitting down. I quickly divert my eyes away from him and look down at the table, suddenly I hear Kevin's voice and I freeze.
" hey lani are you ok? You look alittle... Flustered" kev says while smirking at me
I mentally curse Kevin out and I put on a fake smile
" yeah I'm fine just a little tired that's all" I say quickly
Daniel just looks at me with a questioning look but goes back into their conversation. I have to get away from this table, I look around to see to see Summer and Devin are not here I get up to look for them. I walk outside of the chick fil a into the parking lot to find the most shocking, the most devastating sight.... I see Summer and Devin kissing.. I gasp and they both break away.
" umm lani it's not what it looks like" Devin says while scratching the back of his neck
I look down with tears in my eyes and walk back into the chick fil a, I hear Devin calling my name but I keep walking and sit down next to Daniel and Kevin. I put my head down and silently cry to myself, I feel someone pull me up and it's Kevin.
" lani what's wrong! What happened" Kevin says with concern in his voice
" I-I just seen Summer and Devin kissing" I say while the tears start falling again
I see Daniel get up and storm out the building to Devin and summer, i feel someone pull me into hug and it's Kevin. I push myself closer to his embrace and just close my eyes, I feel Kevin rubbing my back and whispering something to me.
" it's ok baby girl.. He didn't deserve you anyway"
