I've been trying to get in touch with him since I saw it on the news this morning.

This can't be happening.

Tweet after tweet, article after article says the same thing the other one did.

Is it because of me?

I texted Niall but he still hasn't responded to me which I totally understand. I've literally tried to contact everyone but no one has said anything back yet.

Why am I even trying so hard to get in touch with him?

The last time we talked or argued he just told me how "stupid and immature" I am.

I guess a little part of me still cares.

I put my phone face down on my nightstand and turn my lights off, ready for this day to end. I really need to let this go.

He's gone.

Forever.

2:30am

I wake up to loud banging coming from the front of my apartment.

I check the time on my clock and groan before getting out of bed to see what the hell the noise is, too tired to even be slightly nervous or scared.

Honestly, it's probably just Nia coming back from her boyfriends place. She's been going over there for the past few days so she might be drunk or something.

I hear the noise again realizing it was someone knocking so I walk towards it slowly.

Okay, it can't be her because she lives here so she wouldn't be knocking.

"Who is it?" I ask knowing better than to open my door this early in the morning when living in New York.

I hear nothing in return so I start walking back towards my room so I can go back to sleep. Right before I crawl back into my bed I hear it once more, louder this time.

I turn around angrier this time, ready to yell at whoever the hell is behind the door.

"What?" I snapped opening the door meeting painfully familiar hazel eyes.

"Zayn?" I squeak out.

"Alana."
