Finding Hope Somewhere

Chapter 20

Warped was finally here. I was so excited because this was my first year. I know crazy right?

I got out of bed eagerly to start getting ready. I put my phone into my docking station and just put it on shuffle. The first song that started to play was "You Only Live Once" by suicide silence.

On my way to the bathroom I was humming the tune of the song. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste and brushed my teeth. Then I washed my face and that was it.

I walked over to my vanity and grabbed my Mac foundation. I pumped a little of it on my hand and took a blending sponge and blended it into my face. Then I took my powder and set it on my face. I then put my highlighter under my eyes. Then, I took out my

Mac black gel eyeliner with a curved brush and winged it out on both eyes. Then I took my grey eyeshadow with my eye shadow brush and put it on both my eye lids. Lastly, I put on some red lipstick and I was done with makeup.

I went into the bathroom, and turned on my flat iron to do my hair. It took me about twenty minutes to straighten all of my hair, considering I have thick hair and a lot of it. I then grabbed a comb and teased all the crown of my head and sprayed it with hair spray. I then brushed it a little bit to give it the poof on the crown of my head.

I walked out of my bathroom and went over to my closet. I grabbed a pair of thick high waisted jean shorts. Then I grabbed a Bring Me the Horizon shirt and put both of them on. I then grabbed some socks and my dr. Martens and put them on. I then grabbed my adventure time back pack, my ticket, and my camera and put it in my bag.

"Laura, Jack is here" my Aunt Lynn said.

"Okay, bye Aunt Lynn"

I ran out of the house and slammed the door behind. I was finally going to warped.

I got in Jack'a "pick up truck"and off we went.

"Well someone's excited" Jack said smiling.

"Yeah, finally I get to see my idols"

A few hours later we got there. All these kids were wearing "Black Veil Brides, Bring me the Horizon, Of Mice and Men, Pierce the Veil, and Sleeping with sirens T-shirts" I was so excited that right when we found a parking spot, I got out of the car, and so did Jack.

We headed to the front entrance, they checked our tickets and we walked inside. We wanted to be in front to see Bring me the Horizon so we went to the main stage to see them. About an hour later, Oli, Vegan, Matt, Jordan, and Lee came on stage. All around us were fans screaming out their names.

"How are all of you guys doing?" Oli screamed

All fans were screaming, some even crying. Jack and I were pushed up against the gate, that blocked us from the stage.

"Everyone of you knows this song, so I want everyone of you to sing along" Oli yelled." This one is called "It Never Ends"

I started to scream and sing along with the lyrics. Bring Me the Horizon is my favorite band and to hear my favorite song from them made me so excited.

I look over and Jack is singing along.

Many of hours later Warped was finally over. I had the best time with my best friend Jack.

"Hey Laura did you have a nice time?" Jack said while trying to open the car door.

"I had the best time!!"

We both got in the car. Both of us still had a rush of excitement.

Before you knew it I had fallen asleep on my way to my house.

"Laura? Laura?"

I heard a voice very vaguely say my name.

I open my eyes and it was Jack. I smile and sit up yawning.

"Someone slept well"

He said with a really dorky smile

"I guess"

"Alright let's get you inside"

I open my door and get out of the car, slamming in behind me. As Jack and I get closer to my door he stops me.

"Laura I want to tell you something"

"What is it"

"I'm really sorry for everything, the truth is I've loved you since we met. The way you talked, and walked just made me go crazy. I know I'm like a brother to you but to me you're perfection. When I found out you were dating Jasper it killed me inside. I wanted you to myself. That's why I went with Abigail because I was jealous and couldn't stand it. I love you so much Laura"

"Jack....I love you too...but.."

Before I could finish my sentence my lips were locked with Jack's. What the hell am I doing. I pull back. The chill that went down my spine wasn't a good one. Damn Jasper is going to kill me. What have I done?!?!

"Bye Laura" Jack said smiling

"Bye"

I walk into my house mumbling curse words under my breath

"Damn it

Damn it

Damn it

DAMN IT!!"

I can't believe it! I kissed jack.

Okay no big deal. He's just a best friend. It meant nothing. Nothing at all. Oh forget it, it meant something. I have a boyfriend.

My thoughts started to over take my mind. What the hell have I done?
