12. Selfies (Cas xreader)

Castiel became human just a few months ago. He's still getting used to and learning about bodily functions and what's normal.
He stayed in the bunker with you and the boys.
He has grown real fond of the White Castle burgers.
You've been helping Cas learn some things and he's grown close to you. If he has a problem, you're the first to know.

"(Y/N)," he asked, looking down at his phone. "What is this...Candy Crush?" He looks up at you and raises a brow.
You chuckle and go over to help him.
"It's a game, Cas," you take the phone and show him how to play it. "See? It's actually kinda fun.." You smile and give the phone back to him.

"Okay." He plays it and smiles. "It's fun. I do enjoy the crushing of the candy."

He sits there until his phone goes dead. "(Y/N)! What happened?!" He looks at the phone with  wide eyes.
"It died Cas. Let me charge it for you."
His eyes filled with tears.
"I-it's dead...how?" His lip pouts out.
You laugh.
"It's not funny, (Y/N)! He's dead!"
"No! No! Cas! You gotta charge it haha."
You plug it up and it starts to come on.
"See?"
His face lights up and he stars playing it again for hours on end.

You taught him how to set a lock screen and now he insisted you take a "selfie" with him and it's him and you.
He has his cute awkward smile.

You decided to do the same to your phone so you got your camera off filters and took an all natural picture with Cas and he decided to try the duck face. Funniest. Thing. Ever.
Well, Atleast everyone got a laugh out of your lock screen.
