Dean gathered up some blankets and got dressed in his nicest clothes which were a new flannel, a black tee shirt and some non-wore out jeans.

Cas had been real down since he fell he just hasn't been himself. It's taken its toll on him and it's affecting Dean, too because he just wants his angel back.

Dean's been planning when all stars will be the brightest and tonight's the night.
It's a full moon and Castiel always looked at the stars to remind him of what once was.

Dean went to the top of a hill nearby and laid out a huge blanket for them to lay on. He picked a place where the flowers are beautiful even through their closed up pedals.
Once he finished, he went back to the bunker and found Cas.

"Hey, Cas?" Dean looked at him with a small smile.
"Yes, Dean?" Cas looked drowsily up at Dean.
"I need to show you something, can you come with me?"
Cas tilted his head. "What is it?"
Dean smiled. "Just come with me.."
Cas nodded a little and Dean led him up on the hill where he laid the blanket out.

"Dean, what is this?" Cas looked at Dean who was already looking at him.

"I just want to spend a little time with you, okay?"
Cas nodded. "Okay."

Dean grabbed Castiel's hand and they laid on the blanket.
Dean pulled Cas close to him as they looked up at the stars.
Dean petted Cas's hair at his blue eyes sparkled under the moonlight.

"Look at the stars," Dean said to Cas in a whisper. "Look how they shine for you." He smiled and Cas looked up at him, Dean put his lips to Cas's and when they pulled away, Cas continued looking up at the sky.

They stayed up on the hill until dawn to watch the sun rise and it was the second most beautiful thing in the world.
In Dean's eyes, Cas was first.

"It's beautiful, Dean. Thank you."
Cas smiled at Dean. It's the first real smile since the fall.
"Not as beautiful as you" Dean smiled as they kissed in the middle of the sun rise, the sun just hitting them.
