26. Happy Valentine's Day? (Castiel xreader)

I walked out of the bathroom after waking up and saw Cas standing there with some flowers; roses to be exact.
"Happy Valentine's Day, (Y/N).." Cas smiled at me and handed them to me like a child.
I chuckled and took them. "Happy Valentine's Day, Castiel." I smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"We're going out to eat.." He smiled and tried to zap us but I stopped him.
"Woah, Cas. I'm not even dressed.." He looked at me."Oh.." He seemed awkward. "I am sorry. I shall let you get dressed, even though I think you look marvelous.."
He went and sat on the bed and watch a cartoon.

I went and put on some jeans and a shirt. "Done.."
He got up and looked at you. "Way better than the undergarments.."
I blushed lightly and Cas zapped us to a diner.
I looked around and saw we are at White Castle.
They're red and white streamers hanging from the ceiling and heart shaped balloons tied onto a heavy object that's wrapped in red foil, holding it to the table.
Everything's themed in Valentine's Day colors and paper cut outs of hearts are taped to the wall.
But I don't want anything special anyways, so this is perfect.
I smile.
"I saw that they're having a Valentine's Day special and when I was a human I grew real fond of their burgers.." He smiled down at you and held your hand.
"Well, it's very thoughtful of you Cas." I said smiling.
We ordered our food and got seated at a table.

We ate and Cas pulled out a envelope.
"Dean said these are nice to give to the one you love on Valentine's Day"
He smiles and hands it to me.
"Your supposed to open it"
He states.
I nod and open it.
It's a heart shaped card and it has the words 'I love you' written on it in cursive and 'to: (Y/N)'
I open it and read what he wrote on the card, but when I opened it a soft tune of a piano played from the card.
     '(Y/N), as you can tell, it's Valentine's Day and I love you. You haven't only made me a happy, but you've made me a better angel. I never quite felt like I really belonged in any place, really, but when I met you it was different. I had a sense of belonging and understanding. You made my entire existence mean something not only to you, but to me aswell. You are my diamond in the rough, as they say or so I'm told. I have watched man murder eachother and many other horrors throughout my lifetime, but you seem to make all that go away. I was lost before you so what I'm really trying to say is, I love you, (Y/N). Truly and deeply. Be my Valentine?'

I was crying in happiness by the end of the letter and I got up and hugged Cas and pressed our lips together.
"I love you and Yes, Cas. I'll be your valentine." I smile and he smiles.
"Oh and (Y/N)?" Cas asked as we pulled away.
"Yeah, Cas?"
"What is a valentine?"
