Sam was really excited to getting to be around Dean and actually getting to spend some quality time with him because with what they do, they don't get that a lot.

So Sam made the popcorn and got everything ready, just how he knows Dean likes and waited for Dean to get home so they could watch a movie.

About 15 minutes later, Dean came in, but-he wasn't alone. Cas was with him.

Cas and Dean were dating so Sam didn't really mind because they could still talk an stuff-well, at least he thought so- Cas and Dean talked all night and cuddled and Dean didn't really even notice Sam for awhile, although they did enjoy the snacks and popcorn with even acknowledging Sam.

Sam couldn't have been more hurt or betrayed or abandoned in that moment.

Dean was his brother and they'd spent all their years together then when he gets a boyfriend, everything changes and he won't even give Sam a 'hello'.

Sam left the room- of course Dean and Cas didn't even notice- and he went to his bedroom, laying on the bed and silent tears fell down his cheeks.

Eventually, he just turned to his pillow and silently sobbed because so many negative thoughts wouldn't stop swarming his head.

He eventually got tired of all the crying and even caring so he shut himself off; made himself numb to it.

Even if the urge to cry came over, he'd hold them back and pretend to be fine.

Dean and Castiel's relationship had ruined his and Deans.

And nothing is worse than losing a friend or feeling abandoned by one.
