"I wonder if we'll be picked together, Dean.." Cas said, watching from the glass dome they've called home for quite sometime as the man turned a sign so that people from outside would know it's okay to enter.
"I don't know, but I sure hope so.." Dean replied, tapping on the plastic ball that each of them were in so when the giants came and used the claw they could pick them up easier. After all, they weren't that big.
"Me too.."

About an hour later, a kid approached and put a coin in, the sound of the claw growing louder and moving.

It dropped and as it lowered, grabbed Dean and lifted him out. "DEAN!! NO!!" Cas screamed and yelled and tried with all he could to try and get the claw to stop. To bring Dean back.

Cas could barely see Dean trying to free himself from the ball before it was too late and Dean was out of sight, the little boy taking him with a smile and walking away.

Cas sat there not saying anything, having to deal with the look of pity from all the other guardians.

Cas would just have to wait and see if he got picked and then he could hopefully find Dean.

It was a few days before Cas got picked, he would try with all he could to stay in the grasp of the claw and today he finally did. It was another young boy that looked around the same age as the one who got Dean.

Cas smiled in hope he'd find Dean and they'd be able to be like a normal guardian and not locked away in a plastic ball and glass dome.

The boy ran along and left the store, taking Cas outside and Cas pressed his face to the plastic ball, looking at everything with awe.

The boy got in a car where an older woman was sitting.

"What took you so long, James?" The woman asked, turning a key and moving a stick in the middle of the car and it began to move.

"I was getting a pocket guardian, see?"

Cas was being held up and shown to to the older woman. She glanced briefly before looking ahead of her again.
"Yes, I see. We'll probably be a bit late for Kyle's house than planned.."

The boy, James, shrugged as he took Cas out of the plastic ball and put him in his pocket.

Cas looked around and touched the soft fabric of the inside pocket and yawned, curling up and falling asleep in James's pocket.

Cas was woken up by being lugged forward a bit as the car came to a fast, quick stop.

James started moving and got out of the car, walking behind his mom who approached the door and knocked.

After the 2nd or 3rd knock, another woman came to the door who must be Kyle's mom.
She smiled and greeted them then James walked in and ran upstairs and into Kyle's room.

"Hey, guess what I got today?" James said enthusiastically.

"What?!" Kyle smiled widely and put his game controller down.

James reach in his pocket and pulled out Cas. "A pocket guardian.." James smiled.

"That's awesome! I got one too, bro!"

Kyle reach to his drawer and pulled out his guardian.

Castiel's eyes widened to reveal Dean.

"Wanna play black ops 3?" Asked Kyle.

James nodded and threw Cas onto the bed and Kyle did the same as they went and began playing their game.

Cas scurried over to Dean and Dean smiled wide and bright.

They enveloped eachother in a hug for the first time.

"I've missed you so much, Cas.." Dean pulled away and looked at Cas, lost for words in the moment.

"Me too, Dean.. So much.. I love you.." Cas smiled and hugged Dean again.

"I love you, too, Cas.."

Dean smiled and hugged Cas back.
