37. Hey Jude (Dean xreader)

I woke up to the familiar sound of Samuel crying.
I sigh and start to get up when I feel Dean's hand on my shoulder. "I'll get it" he groaned as he got up and walked out.

After a few minutes of Samuel crying, which he done almost every night, there was silence. I didn't hear anything.
I got up and went upstairs and stood by the doorway, watching Dean slowly rock Samuel back and forth while lightly singing Hey Jude.
I smiled and listened.

"Hey Jude,
Don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you will start,
To make it better."
He smiled down at Samuel and stroked the little patch of light brown hair on the top of his head.
"Hey Jude,
Don't be afraid.
You were made to
Go out and get her.
The minute you let her under your skin,
Then you begin to make it better."
Dean stopped singing seeing that Samuel had fallen asleep and he kissed his forehead and whispered, "goodnight, buddy. I love you." Then he slowly lowered him back into the crib.

When he turned around and saw me and smiled again and hugged me.
"I love you, (Y/N). You gave me something I never would have dreamed of."
I smiled into his chest.
"I love you, too, Dean."

He pulled away from the hug and pressed his lips against mine gently, caressing my face as my lips parted, deepening the kiss.

We pulled away and then went back to bed.
I fell asleep in his arms.
