44. My favorite hero (Sam and Dean)

AU to when Sam was 8 and Dean was 12.

It was close to Halloween and Sam and Dean are sitting on the couch in the living room discussing costumes.

"Who are you planning to be, Sammy?" Dean asked as he turned the tv to a cartoon and say the remote down.

"I wanna be my favorite superhero." He smiled up at Dean, one of his front teeth missing.

"Who's your favorite?" Dean raised a brow.
"I can't say, but want me to put the costume on and show you, Dean?" He said anxiously.
Dean nodded and Sam took off to their room and after a few minutes he emerged in Dean's shirt which came down to his knees and a pair of dean's jeans which dragged way past his feet.

Dean was confused for a minute. "Who are you supposed to be? A homeless batman?"

Sam shook his head. "No. You're my favorite super hero, Dean." He smiled and ran to Dean, jumping on his and giving him a hug.

Dean patted his back and hugged him aswell.

Dean smiled and held Sam for a few minutes.

"Not the best choice you could've went for, but I like it."

Sammy looked up at him with a small glare.

"You're the bestest super hero, Dean," he began. "You save people from bad monsters and you help me all the time and you save me everyday." He smiled wider and sat beside Dean on the couch and began watching the cartoon that's on. "Batman and superman are on movies. You're the real super hero, Dean."

Dean looked down at him and held back tears as he held his baby brother close.
