Im not going without you

Niamh suddenly feels a sharp cramping pain in her lower stomach. She cries out in pain and reaches for her phone to text Joe.

She frantically texts him as she sits down 'Joe it's happened, my waters have broken' she sends it before realising in factp she's texting Ellie.

She doesn't wait for a reply from Ellie and instead rings Joe. Joe picks up his phone and before he can say anything Niamh starts to speak, "Joe! ... my ... waters have broken!" She panics.

"Ellie told me!" he says as he begins to panic too.

"Joe what do I do!" She panics.

"First of all try and calm yourself down, he might not want to make an appearance just yet, just because your waters have broken doesn't mean he will..." Joe is cut off by Niamh crying out in pain. "Niamhy?" he says.

"Joe there's blood in it" she mumbles.

Joe tries to keep calm "Niamh its natural try not to panic I'm on my way home" he says

"Please hurry" she says as she starts to cry.

"Don't panic, I'll be there as soon as I can" he reassures her.

"But Joe what do I do" she moans.

Joe goes quiet and Niamh can hear him talking to someone, "Get your bag ready, remember the one you packed ages ago" he smiles as he guides her.

Joe doesn't know what to say "right I'm getting a lift from someone to the end of the street and I will run down to you" he says

"Okay, can you stay on the phone, I don't want to be by myself" she mumbles.
"Maybe I should call an ambulance, what happens if he does decide to come before you are home Joe" she moans.

"Please stay on the phone" she cries.

"Niamh I can stay on the phone for as long as you need" he reassured her.

"Where are you now?" he questions to keep her talking.

"I'm... Going to get the bag" she mumbles.

"Take it easy and don't panic, I'll be there soon" Joe says.

She moans down the phone "I know I said no pain relief but it's so fucking painful" she moans.

"Maybe pain relief might be the better option babe" he suggests.

"Yes it's not an option anymore! It's demand" she moans and Joe laughs.

"Please Joe it's not funny" she moans.

"Sorry babe" he replies

"Ellie's dropping me home now" he says as he gets into the car. Niamh cries to herself and breathes a little unbalanced.

"Try and breath evenly babe" Joe says.
He listens to her all the way there, it takes around half an hour but he finally gets to Niamh.

He sprints upstairs to see her crying in pain, She stands up and hugs him.

"I'm so glad you're here oh my god Joe please tell me everything will be okay" she moans.
